The location near Male makes for a quick and easy arrival transfer. The villas are the best I've ever seen - any others fall woefully short in comparison. Lastly, the staff and hospitality is unmatched. Not only is every need met, but it is done so with genuine enthusiasm and humility. The entire staff is so friendly and kind.

Upgrading to the Lagoon Villa was definitely worth it; the view from our sundeck was absolutely amazing! I had been concerned about whether the water would be deep enough for swimming, but it exceeded my expectations. The uninterrupted views of the sunset made the upgrade truly worthwhile. Having visited five different resorts in the Maldives over the past 20 years, I can confidently say this was the most beautiful one yet. Thank you to Rodrigo and all the staff for making our stay so fantastic!

We had the best time!!! Such a beautiful resort, I would definitely revisit even although this was our first trip to the Maldives. We done four nights and it didn’t feel long enough, could’ve spent a few weeks here! Great food and choices of meals and cocktails 🙌

Public areas were always kept in clean condition and easily accessible. The island and areas for dining were absolutely breathtaking. Loved that you can either fill your day with activities or do nothing and relax. The villas are large and equipped with anything you would need.

Absolutely everything was incredible! The villa was perfect - clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could need. The facilities, entertainment and whole resort set up was well planned, ran smoothly and catered to our every need. We really enjoyed the snorkelling opportunity and the spa experience. The food and drinks were varied, delicious and exceeded all expectations. The whole staff were exceptional and couldn’t have done more to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. When we visited, I was 23 weeks pregnant and every single member of staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating, making sure we felt looked after at all times. We were particularly appreciative of the private speedboat transfer to make our journey as smooth as possible. A special mention to Miffy, our Mr Friday, for being absolutely fantastic and making our baby moon so special. We would 100% recommend this resort and hope to make it back one day!

Leading up to the vacation, we had read plenty of reviews raving about the experience, but in reality, I don't think there's anything that can prepare you for the bliss that Gili is. Although there seemed to be a good amount of guests, we often felt the privacy and peace of feeling that we were among very few. The entire experience feels very intimate and personalized. We snorkeled almost every day - it was incredibly exciting to witness the aquatic life at the very footsteps of our villa. The room setup and facilities are beautiful and so thoughtfully arranged, the staff is accommodating, the food options are varied and delicious, and the activities are plentiful for those who seek them. We loved the barefoot life and riding our bicycles every day! The location is a short boat trip from the airport, and yet in that small amount of time, you will come to feel completely transported to a true heaven on earth.

Everything! Best hotel we have stayed. We went to Gili to finish our honeymoon and it was the most wonderful time ever. From the incredible blue water over the pool villa to the staff and everything in between. I COULD NOT RECOMMEND IT MORE for your honeymoon or any other romantic trip. We will be back!!!

Incredible place and an incredible hotel. Nothing like anywhere else I’ve ever stayed. Every meal is unbelievably good and every member of staff knows your name, wherever you are on the island.

I was there with my wife looking for relaxation, I think people looking for activity would be better off elsewhere. Slightly picky, but during meals too many people asked me if I was happy, which at some point became slightly irritating.

The colour of the water, the sand and the sky were perfect. The villas were enormous and meant you were happy to be in them all day. There were loads of staff looking to make everything perfect. It was the most relaxing and beautiful place.

Nothing, all was beyond perfect.

Everything was just perfect, right from the beginning until the last second. The team made our honeymoon an unforgettable one, starting from our Mrs. Friday (Jaisha) to Hafeez, Ahmet and everyone who supported us. The facility was unreal, everything was customized for us (even the food menu had our names on it). Food was spot on, every night had a different theme and I honestly cant describe how good it was. We had the best time so far and honestly Gili raised the bar way too high, we will definitely be celebrating one anniversary there.

-It’s just 20 minutes from Velena International Airport. So, more tome to enjoy the resort on the 1st day. -Very beautiful view. The resort has about three or more stunning beaches, each with its own uniqueness. -Comfortable villas, clean and spacious with all the needed amenities. -The water near the villas is crystal clear and calm, very safe for swimming. -The staffs are attentive and friendly, especially our Mr. Friday, Mr. Zubba.
