Our Arena beach hotel stay was wonderful thanks to its exceptional staff. From the warm welcome at reception, to the attentive breakfast team and helpful room attendants, everyone was seemed genuinely happy to assist. Specific mentions to Ishan, Arupita, Ritika, Tinzar and others for their outstanding service made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and pleasant atmosphere.

Everything was great. Everyone who works there was very kind and helpful. They can make nice surprises to you. Thanks to them. You can find anything to eat because there are lots of different dishes that some of them suit your taste. It is in the bikini beach and you can find a sunbed and umbrella. Its location is good and the sea is also great. There are lots of excursions that you can join.They are all very well orginised. They have a very nice welcoming :)

We were put in the last building so it felt like a storage place as there was no reception and they actually stored things close to the lift which smells bad too. The agency they have at the hotel that organises local trips was not the best I ever used, we went for a fishing trip with BBQ afterwards, arrived at the reception at 16:45 as we were told and they kept us waiting there for at least 20min, even if we didn’t catch anything they promised us the BBQ, we came back to the hotel we were told to go to the hotels restaurant for the fish dinner at 20:45 which is very late for dinner already and we were served only close to 21:30. Booked another trip with another agency it went very well so I’d avoid the hotel one.

We had a partial view of the sea, the beds were comfortable, the room clean.

On the downside, check-in was slow and included unnecessary instructions focused on promoting the hotel’s restaurant and tours. After a long journey, a quicker check-in would have been appreciated.

Breakfast could be a bit more varied. We stayed for a full week, and at the end the same food every day became a bit boring. The hotel offers half board and full board (with an additional payment) but we decided not to have lunch and dinner at the hotel, and that was a good decision as Maafushi has loads of inexpensive restaurants with very good food.

The hotel is very close to the ocean and has its own private "bikini" beach. The view from our room was spectacular! As for the room, the size was okay if you travel light, but with large suitcases it could possibly feel a bit crammed, but not an issue for us as we travelled with carry-ons only. As for the bed, super comfy in the premium double room with balcony and sea view (worth the extra money for the view and the very comfortable room and bed), and the air conditioning was also excellent, with good room temperature and very silent throughout. Service overall very good, from housekeeping/cleaning to the reception desk to the excursion team. Many thanks to all!

Rooms were a little bit too small compared to Kaani Hotel next to it and the view in Kaani was better. But the food and the service and the pool in Arena is much better and makes it worth it to stay there

Everything was nice except that after cleaning the room my gold wedding ring disappeared. It was not the material that was important but the sentimental value of the ring. Unfortunately, all the employees starting from the General Manager did nothing.

I have never in my life been treated with such warmth and respect as I was by the staff at Arena Beach – especially the male staff members. They are honestly some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. No matter how I felt or what I needed, they showed patience, care, and genuine kindness every single time. They made me feel safe and truly cared for, and I will never forget that.☺️🙏♥️

The beach facing rooms are literally giving you an uninterrupted view of the ocean. We asked for and got a higher floor room which made the beach view experience even better. Rooms are clean and the building we stayed in was new so everything was spic and spam. We had a triple occupancy room (couple & child) which was enough for 3 of us with our luggage. The location is at the fag end of the island so on our right we could see the sunrise and on the left we could see the sunset. View is wonderful. One more thing to mention is that all the tour operators, souvenir shops, restaurants etc. are concentrated around the same neighbourhood. So it makes it easy to arrange various day trips and activities from here. Arena hotel also has its own activities desk which arranges activities and day trips from Maafusi. Well, one can also go out and book tours from other operators within a walking distance. The prices of tours offered by the hotel and outside operators are the same as well. Basically there is everything that you need to have a good trip right at the Arena hotel. Staff is courteous, helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Majitha (Customer Relations) who helped us to ensure that we got a stay with all our requirements met. Thanks to Rakhshanda (Reception) for arranging our transport and change of room to a higher floor.

Great choice for a staycation in MAAFUSHI ISLAND Perfect place to do activities to the island. I love the service of the staff they are so accommodating and helpful in our concerns. - special to mention to the following crew/staff who made our stay special and gave their best in giving extra mile and extra smile = HAZEL of RECEPTION who welcomed and assisted us in our inquiries. She was so kind and hardworking. =ADRIANO of Excursion section - because of him we where able to experience one of the best activity I had in my life when it comes to island hopping and the SHARK/STINGRAY experience =NEERU & NIYAS for assisting us and giving us great service , very genuine and accommodating =SAJJI AND AKSHAY , extra mile in arranging our boatride and transportion, great job!!!! Kudos to everyone and definitely will recommend it yo others.

The hotel is perfectly located close to the beach and the activities are offered by the hotel, the activities are carried out by trained individuals and we experienced a extremely adventurous stay! The special call out is the hotel staff who were very polite and helpful, specially Reena from the reception was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely would stay again at this place for my next visit.

A very beautiful hotel right by the beach. The room was clean and had a sea view. There was an exceptional staff member named Majitha who welcomed us with a warm smile.
