Nothing - all good

We had a wonderful stay at La Voile Bleue. The place was spotless, and our apartment was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was modern and very pleasant, and the kitchenette was practical and functional, complete with a small fridge that made it easy to store our drinks and everyday staples like butter, milk, and yogurt. The swimming pool was a very comfortable size, perfect for relaxing, and the view was simply breathtaking. The little restaurant overlooking the sea served breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the most beautiful setting, making every meal a delight. What we especially appreciated was the location — a little bit away from the busier coastal villages, it felt peaceful, private, and never overcrowded. But the real highlight was the staff: every single person was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, which truly made our stay special. La Voile Bleue is a gem that I would wholeheartedly recommend, and I would not hesitate to return.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and offered a nice view from the window. There was a large terrace and a kitchenette. Breakfast was very tasty, with two options to choose from. A bus stop is located nearby, providing easy access to surrounding beaches. The staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. The nearest beach is just a short walk away (around 100 to 200 meters)

The bed was a bit on the hard side, and if possible, an extractor fan in the bathroom would make a big difference. The hotel is a little further from a good swimming beach but just a short taxi ride or bus trip to Trou aux Biches and Mon Choisy beaches, so that did not really bother us at all, especially considering the price being a fraction of the cost of the big resorts.

Voile Bleue is a little piece of heaven - a very well run and well maintained hotel close to Trou aux Biches. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and Ali at the front desk deserves a special mention and thanks! Our room was large and roomy, with everything we needed, and it was spotlessly cleaned every day. We also had a stoep with a lovely side view over the ocean, with perfect sunsets every night beautifully framed by palm trees. Having breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the ocean was a great start to every day, and we loved every minute of our stay.

It would have been a nice touch to have some tea, coffee and milk supplied.

The fridge in the room is making extreme noise from time to time which is annoying during night. It could have been a bit cleaner, some hair in the shower on arrival and some ants in the room. The sink in the bathroom was stuck and it took a long time until water went away. I would prefer to have mosquito nets on the windows in bathroom and kitchen and over the bed. Room could have little more decoration and color, very white and clean in design. A cloths drying rack is absolutely missing in the bathroom or on the balcony (they offer a washing machine but no drying options). Not enough storage space in the room, I am missing a shelf or something. We had to put the 2nd luggage on the table.

Very friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Nice surroundings with many plants and well maintained. Buffet evening with dance show was nice and tasty but a bit too expensive (1700 mr per person) and not enough food for everybody to serve several times. Breakfast was the same every day (you could choose from continental or English breakfast), but tasty. Bed was super comfy and air-condition worked well. If you walk 2 min to the right, you have nice beach and sea to swim. With rental car you have many food options in the 10-15 min surroundings.

Restaurant staff a little more tense maybe it was out of language barrier but the Fridays and Saturdays of live music was great.

The pool was a little dirty but I can expect that since its close the beach.

The staff truly made our stay, being incredibly helpful and making us feel so welcome. We enjoyed the good food at the restaurant, and the stunning balcony view was definitely a highlight, perfect for starting and ending our days. Plus, they were always ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was wonderfully spacious, and the kitchen had handy utensils for when we wanted to cook. The sofa bed was simple but comfortable, and the hotel's excellent location made exploring the area a breeze.

The only problem I would say is the beach as it's very rocky but that is not something the hotel can sort still was able to sunbath on the beach

Poor breakfast - you can choose b/w continental and english breakfast. Quality/taste of the food is average. Would wish for a buffet style breakfast. Bread could be better (often seemed old/dry). Having a cup for the toothbrush would be nice ;)

Great little hotel, right at the beach (though not for swimming). Extremely spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed, well sized shower, good water pressure. Pool is lovely, with sea view. Staff is very kind and helpful.

It was beautiful and the food was good.

The place would be perfect for a couple's get away. The food was good, service great and it was a beautiful place. My only comment is it was difficult for me using a walker/cane. There was some music from the evening entertainment but it didn't go on for too long and we were very tired.

Vegetarian food options poor but this was the same all over Mauritius. Some flexibility from the standard menu would have made it so much better.
