Hard to find anything we did not like. As it was winter, the garden still needed recovering after a hot summer with dried grass. Appreciate this would require a huge amount of watering like they 'waste' in the big resort hotels though.

Prior to the travel all comms with Ken, the site manager, was clear and helpful. He welcomed us on arrival and explained the apartment facilities. All were as described to make our stay very special. Rooms were large. Beds large and very comfortable. Cleaning every other day. Bathroom and pool towels all provided saving luggage. Good kitchen facilities although we had arranged external catering for our party of 8 + baby, so was used for breakfast and lunch only. The pool was a good size to allow a decent swim with shallow areas for small kids.

Excellent Management and Host. Perfect communications prior to our trip, very helpful and always happy to address any needs, e.g. airport transport. Staff as well very friendly and polite and always smiling. The tennis court and pool were used on daily basis 😊

Little bit far from the beach. But still loved it.

Villa was beautiful, and very quiet. Villa had everything inside, full equipped kitchen, beach towels for everybody and even an ironing board. Pool was just outside our door, and was able to swim late, but very quietly. In all very nice place to stay..Customer service was fantastic too

Nothing really, my only point would be that there was no things for cooking in a self catering property such as salt, pepper, oil etc which I have always found really useful. But that is the only thing I can think of for this section, everything else was great.

The complex itself was lovely, really nice pool and easy access to everything. The actual apartment was really nice and exactly as shown in the photos.

The pool was fabulous and the apartment was spacious. Great facilities, great balcony and the owners very welcoming. We made the most of the tennis court, the gym and the pool.

The upstairs bedroom with ensuite would be better with a proper door, instead it has a drop down bamboo blind and is not private and annoying to operate.

The hosts were really approachable and friendly. They let us use the reception phone and answered all our questions. We arrived late at night and was provided a handover of keys from the security guard in an envelope with a welcoming letter. Car parking is designed for 1 car per villa but our hosts were kind enough to allow us to have 2 cars. An overall good stay.

Nothing at all. However, a car is necessary if going anywhere other than the local beach and shopping mall. But if visiting Mauritius, it would be a shame not to explore the island as it has so much to offer, for which one needs a car.

Very well appointed apartment, large shady balcony overlooking the pool, well equipped kitchen for self-catering, beautiful, lush gardens, tranquil location, the only sounds being the wind through the palm trees and the birds chirping. Hosts Clifford and Valerie were second to none - gave us a warm, friendly and professional welcome, always ready to chat, help and advise. Housekeeping excellent (three times per week), night security guard Nathoo always smiling and friendly.

The beach is a bit far away, which is compensated by the shuttle service and the pool.

After staying 18 days at VillaSun property there is only left to say, this was our very best accommodation so far. Our appreciation goes first and foremost to Clifford & Valeria for sharing stories, always looking for our wishes, managing our arrival & being commited and last but not least to Natu, our reliable night guard - yes, there is every night a guard at the gate. All factors which created the very familiar atmosphere and hopefully we can come back one day! The apartment with two rooms was big enough for us (two adults and a baby), with a good quality of accessoires in the kitchen, bathroom and living room and all the technical necessities working properly and reliable. They really thought of everything, even of the small things, we did not expect: electric plug-ins, mosquito plug-in liquids, enough towels for showering, beach & babybed. Furthermore we had luck being there at the end of Mauritian summer still having 27-30 C degrees and mostly empty property with the pool just for us - with clear & great water quality. The pool is cleaned with a machine two times a week and added chlor to it so no worry about unclear water! During our staying we used the pool with the baby, drank coffee and tea from the tap, cooked with it as well and we didn't have any stomach problems. Everything is super clean. For families the gated property Villasun is a great choice because the children can freely play around and go to the pool alone - there is even a children pool with shallow water, or play tennis or football. The place is just big enough for all the fun children need. All in all a great accomodation if you want to stay at a familiar place, be self sufficient, discover the country, or just relax at the pool.

Location. Needed a car as 25 minute walk to beach and shops. A shuttle service was offered but only during the day.

The apartment was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the personal is excellent 👍🏾 They offered us a shuttle service to a local mall and to the beach. Everyone was super friendly to us. So it was an amazing place to spend our holiday.

There is room for improvement but overall is great value for money. Light bulbs could be stronger, especially in the bathroom.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe - parking is inside the property and gate is always closed. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. There is even a washing mashine, drying rack and iron. You also get beach towels :) We didn't mind the location since we had a car. We definitely recomennd Villasun for your stay.

Great accommodation that was clean and had everything needed, in a quiet area of town but only 15 minute walk to the centre. Staff were super friendly and helpful, I would certainly recommend a stay here.

It was really clean and the staff was very friendly. The apartment is really nice and comfortable. We stayed with our 9 months old baby. They provide us whatever we asked for her and for ourselves. We enjoy our stay a lot.
