You need to make sure you book the on-premise restaurants where you want to dine as early as possible. Not a fault of the hotel, but we had such a good time just in the hotel that we did not end up going to the golf course - which we'll do next time we'll be there.

Loved this heritage resort. Even though it's a large resort, and it was full when we were there, it did not feel crowded at all. The rooms are greatly designed, large, but also have a cozy feeling while tampering you.

The beach is average. Very clean, of course, but not to wide and long walks along the are not possible.

Difficult to go into the sea without hurting your feet beaucause of stones and shells and also very currant water. I recommend bath shoes!

The beach service was not up to par with the rest and bed are very stiff.

Enchanting plantation style setting, lush vegetation, calm and peaceful beach and sea, the inclusions of the Gourmetbliss package are nice, as the Castle and the golf courses. Jossy and Nadine made sure our stay was memorable.

Selection of restaurants and their availability- mainly one restaurant we wanted to try was always fully booked whilst another booking of ours at another restaurant had to be cancelled because of a private party taking place - I would have assumed that this would be better organised from the staff.

Beautiful resort and spacious room. Magnificent greenery around the area. We really enjoyed canoeing and swimming/sunbathing. Food presentation was delightful. The whole place is so relaxing and staff are helpful. Excellent photoshoot taken during our stay - we were impressed over all :) PS- we also managed to visit so many beautiful attractions around mauritius by renting a car.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, supportive with whatever you needed. Room constantly cleaned throughout the day, all the restaurants were delicious. All of the facilities are clean, and the inclusive paddle boarding, bikes, etc were great. On checkout, there are shower and changing facilities which are super useful

The property is extremely beautiful, unique , everything is in white with a French influence , calm and tranquil. The grounds are big and you will never get bored exploring and walking .too many activities to do. The spa is excellent. Every restaurant in the hotel provided an excellent service with amazing food everywhere with great varieties . The rooms are beautiful , clean and big . The staff service is outstanding , very caring and accommodating, we were had an issue with a dinning reservation system as we have arrived late , and the reception staff and Marjorie handled it extremely professionally , gently and kindly and they went the extra mile to accommodate us. This gesture made our stay memorable at heritage. Literally every hotel staff are very attentive , smiling and welling to help with any need you have. We surely will come Back as heritage is one of our favorite in Maurituis after staying in different hotels.

Noise (early mornings) from family next-door room. I would like hotels of this level to have areas dedicated only for couples and adults (separated from areas for families with children), like in many other hotels. Hence, rooms / restaurants / bars / pools (in particular in beautiful and romantic hotels like Heritage) should have areas for families with young children strictly separated from areas with couples only.

We had a mixed feeling about communication. The concierge service requires some review - in our opinion it's better to have an app or a website to request services, rather than a dedicated person. In some cases we had to wait few hours for an answer. The schedules of activities, such as gym or excursions were sent to us via WhatsApp, which may be modern and quick, but not as efficient as a website or an app. The additional bed for our son was less than comfortable. There are very few eating options between 15:30 and 19:00, so don't get hungry between these hours or look for food outside. We didn't know that the hotel restaurants had dress code for dinners in all, except for one, restaurants. Not expecting this, we did not pack long trousers so we missed the dinners at the hotel. We believe such information should be clearly communicated during the booking, not only during the check-in.

The design, the appearance, the location are the strong points of the hotel. Breakfast was superb, especially the local dishes served in the corner, next to the kitchen. The pastries were absolutely great. The heated pool was a great benefit, especially when you're visiting the island in July-August.
