Not having access to complimentary coffee pods on arrival

Complimentary chilled drink in the fridge. We were given code for key safe which didn’t work at first(wrong code) but when called Jeremy, he answered the phone(around 7pm evening) and gave the right code to gain access. Throughout our stay , Jeremy was always at hand to troubleshoot for any minor queries

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, modern and tastefully decorated. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were excellent. The kitchen area was large and very well equipped and there was a large fridge/freezer which meant we could stock a large amount of food. The decked balcony area was beautiful. It was very large with a dining area, lounge chairs and sun loungers. There was a splash pool on the balcony which we used everyday. The apartment was very well serviced with the cleaners visiting every 2 days and the pool was cleaned and serviced twice weekly. The grounds and swimming pool were also very well maintained. On arrival we were met by Hugo who was very welcoming and helpful, showing us the apartment and how to use the facilities. Hugo was always contactable and was very quick to provide any information or help when required. We couldn't have asked for a better apartment or host. The area of the Flic en Flac beach where this apartment block is located is beautiful. It is peaceful and feels safe. The view from our balcony was stunning and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets every evening. Flic en Flac is a convenient location for accessing the attractions in both the north and south of the island as it is quite central. There are lots of shops and restuarants within a short walk of the apartments.

The beach in the front of the property needs a good clean to remove the rocks, etc in the water. My daughter stepped on a sea urchin when she went for a swim. We went to the hospital to have over 10 spines removed

The outer door to the apartment block was broken for our 2 night stay. Given the warning notice about burglaries this should have been fixed immediately

The pictures are the view from my ground floor, they speak themselves. Ocean is just 10mt away from your room and it is definetely the best part of the Flic en Flac beach.

The access road is a little run down though workable.

The apartment was fabulous. A special shoutout to the property manager Jeremy and the housekeeping lady Pemila for their services.

Unfortunately this round we had an issue with equipment in the apartment, which we promptly brought to the attention of the hosts. The matter was not resolved by the time we left.

The host was very accommodating and allowed us an early check in, which was greatly appreciated given that we arrived on an early flight. The apartment is so well designed and equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The pool was dirty and cold, it is definitely a sign of lack of maintenance. In a few rooms you could smell savage. The Wi-Fi connection was very slow and the washing machine is pretty old.

Location is just perfect and the beach was amazing.

Apartment complex is beautiful but the small road leading to the apartment is not paved and lots of potholes though this is not something that is under the control of the apartment letting team. They wanted us to check in prior to arrival which was a bit of pain as was having issues with their system.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment. Apartment was huge with a massive terrace. The views from the terrace were breathtaking with unobstructed views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Apartment was clean. Cleaning ladies came every alternate day.There was a parking space available. The beach is just at the back of the apartment complex. Pool was clean. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants close by. The manager Jeremy was easily contactable.

The road leading to the property could use a bit of asphalt and also some street lights. We didn't actually use the pool (there is the Sea like 5 meters further). The furniture is showing some signs of aging. It's still a very good value and deserving full marks from me

The view, the beach right in front, the cleanliness, the coffee machine. Welcome presents, like water, bread, milk and coffee are very useful until you get your bearings, see where you can buy stuff etc. Staff is very helpful and nice. There are always enough towels, beach towels etc

Everything awesome

Excellent Location and the property just on the beach. Be it the bed or furniture and utensils in kitchen, each and everything were meticulously taken care of. I must call out the super friendly approach and responsiveness of staff specifically the Property Manager Jeremy and house caretaker Prema. I strongly recommend Cap Ouest by Horizon Holidays to anyone traveling to Flic en Flac beach in Mauritius.

Didn't want to leave. Lounge chairs were fine but could be upgraded to be more comfortable, with move positions (so that you could sit upright). Additionally, it would be great to provide some additional umbrellas.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were fortunate to be located in the center building, on the 2nd floor, with a balcony that looked directly onto the big pool and beach/ocean right beyond it. The doors opened wide up to provide a beautiful view. We were in a 3bedroom/3 bathroom. The grounds were well kept with plenty of greenery and trees. Above us was the penthouse and if you want to splurge for more space and a private pool that looked awesome too.
