In the beginning I percieved Fathima as very unfriendly because she never smiles - BUT she was SO helpfull and attended to my queries very fast . 2 tips that would elevate the experience - 1. Unit was very hot and stuffy after a hour's drive in an aircon car- maybe switch the aircon in the unit on half hour before guests arrive 2. Add an information page in booklet about operating the washing machine and television.

The proximity to the Beach was a HIGHLIGHT and MORE than made up for the yucky view from my balcony ( lot of waste, construction very slummy buildings) Rest of Grand Baie was within walking distance , as well as all the helpfull advice from booklet about busses and tourswas great Fathima and her was very responsive hosts - came very quickly to help with television and a clanging shutter.

It takes a long time for the water in the shower to get hot, but it does after a few minutes

The room is very large, with a separate Kitchen / Living Room area, and Bedroom. The balcony is also quite a good size, and has a full size table and chairs. Unfortunately, there is no view, we were overlooking a gravel parking lot. There are a couple of rooms with a partial seaview, but they weren't available when we booked. Right across the street from Grand Bay Beach, and the bus stops are right outside the property. We arrived late at night, and the host waited for our arrival, to greet us and check us into our room.

Water pressure was a little low on some days but no train smash.

Bano Beach residence was local and walking distance to restaurants, beach, Super U, the whole lot. Bang in the middle of busy Grand Baie. Perfect for a local beach holiday. Hosts where spot on. Apartment was cleaned every day. Will definitely book this property again.

Too many noisy neighbours, of course thats not the owners fault

Decent apartment in an enviable location, just a stones throw from the beach and practically opposite the bus stop.Well equiped kitchen with a very modern gas hob.

Everything was fine (just be patient while waiting for hot water in the shower) :)

The apartment is very big and spacious, the bed is comfortable, perfect location close to everything (Super U, restaurants, bars, beach), great base for exploring the north and northeast, there's private parking, washing machine available (you only need to buy your own washing powder), the owner Fathima, who owns the pharmacy downstairs, too, is kind and helpful.

Very well located place, the apartment was clean and comfortable, good for a short stay. I had a balcony/windows from the backyard side, so not nice views but calmer during the night. The owner was nice and welcoming, easy check in (you can pick up the key from the Pharmacy downstairs).

The bed was really hard to sleep on and the noise from traffic was a bit loud. Shower had no pressure but luckily for me I'm bald , my friend though had issues with his long hair 😁

I had the studio with Seaview and the balcony was nice and big although it was hard to spot the sea . The room was cleaned every day . It was located close to restaurants and a big mall with a Super U for grocery shopping

Beautiful location right on the beach, such a stunning coffee shop right next door with incredible coffee and croissants. Everything was cleaned daily with a bedding change every 3 days or so. Beautifully maintained and Fathima is a wonderful host.

Mrs. Fatima was a true gem, she met me on arrival under stressful circumstances and gave me directions to everywhere I needed to go, she was warm and welcoming 🙏🏼. The residence was situated right in the middle of everything you need, especially the beautiful beach which is literally across the road😍

The view from the balcony wasn’t great but they can’t help that but wouldn’t put off recommending it and staying there again. The location to the Beach is amazing.

Brilliant location right opposite the beach. It was quiet when in the room, no noise. Very good sized apartment with working air con and equipped kitchen. Was apprehensive about parking on the beach opposite but had no issues at all. WiFi worked well. For the price this place well over exceeded my expectations.

Bano Beach Residence is the perfect self catering place to stay. It's near everything, you can reach shops, beach and markets by walking just a few meters. The people are awesome, helpfull and very friendly. Every day our apartment was clean and fresh towels provided. Just love this place

Mrs. Fathima was incredibly kind and always willing to help if I needed anything. I was traveling alone as a woman, but I felt very safe the whole time. the apartment faces a main road, there’s a pharmacy downstairs, and she is always around and looking out for her guests. The room was spacious and clean, with a large balcony that offers a sea view. The air conditioning worked well, and the hallway was always well-lit at night, which added to the sense of security. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance, and the bus stop is very close too. I initially planned to stay just one night, but ended up staying two because I felt so comfortable. Thank you for everything. I’d love to come back again someday!
