Some of concierge was rude (lady, boys are normal). Balcony was bad, that I don't call balcony. I can't open a windows because of smell of food and big heat came from conditioner boxes. The number of people at breakfast was not planned, we had to wait for tables and there was always a shortage of dishes, which took a lot of time.

I like location and that was all. If there wasn't a pool available there, then there would be no point in that apartment. Breakfast was delicious, but if it is offered, the hotel needs to plan for the number of people.

A lot of young people on a ‘party holiday’ - part of EF accommodation for students. Loud group living next to us - when we complained at the reception the noise during the night stopped.

The apartment was well appointed with comfortable furniture and a well equiped small kitchen. We also valued having a washing machine since we had two babies with us.

Poor, small and unsafe swimming pool on top to the main building, for the second swimming pool what is advertised on the booking.com you have to pay 30euro/full day per person or 20 euro for half day but this half day start after 14.00. Sat and Sun different price for this big swimming pool.

We were given a smoking room the first night and I had to ask to be moved because the smell made me ill.

The location in Sliema is good, a short walk to the main road with bars and restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to move rooms when I couldn’t stay in the room we had because it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The lady on reception was very helpful with information about the island and things to see.

The apartments need renovation. The first one that we were given was of a very low quality, with worn-out bed mattresses, creaking beds, not working fridge and everything old. Once we asked to change, the manager was kind and changed us to a better room. But the too would benefit from some (though less) renovation, e.g. kitchen furniture doors need to be replaced, repainting is required in bathroom ceilings, etc. The safety locker was broken in both appartments.

The apartment is big and close to the see so you can walk to the ferry (in 15 min -20 min)

Lack of towels and sub basic cooking utilities.

The apartment was very spacious and modern looking. I deducted points because there were only 3 towels for 4 adults, on first attempt none of the entry keys worked we had to walk several streets back to main reception to get more keys. The cooking utensils consisted of obe one slotted spoon, one pasta spoon, two pans and one large pot, very difficult to cook much with that.

Good for the price. If u want something to just rest and have a shower/ cook its perfect. The room was small but had everything you could potentially need. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Towels weren’t enough for 2 people but again, for roughly 30€/night it was okay.

NOISE AND BAD AIR. Just under the only window of the room the large rectangular ventilation air conducts are exiting the basement. This generates plenty of noise in all 24 hours of the day, plus the smell that prevented us to keep the window open. This situation is valid for both our room 8003 and the neighbour room 8001. The ergonomy of the bathroom - boiler hanging over the sink. No other heating but the air conditioner - that was not working in heat setting. Struggled for couple days with all the blankets on top of us - March was not too warm - until we asked for help. It had to be turned on outside our room, from a central switch, for the whole building. What a relief! TV had 7 channels, 3 of them working, but Eurosport had a banner accross writing: sleep timer Off, that we could not get rid of - neither could the maintenance personel. Bed was very hard, too stiff for me, but that is maybe only my problem, it could be great for others.

Location is very good, reasonably priced, staff was very helpful. Breakfast was in the main building, that was also very good. Small but nice pool on top of the building, but closed by the time we could enjoy it in the afternoon, after coming back from sightseeing.

The inconsistency of staff applying ingredients policy. The main hotel has a swimming pool, spa and sauna but they are not well maintained and the temperature is very cool.

The apartment had a terrace but in bedroom and also had a view of other buildings. There was a large window in the living room but it looked out onto the street and since we were on the first floor, it wasn't very convenient. We had problems with the keys, the lock didn't work so it took about an hour for them to fix it. We also had a short power outage because the toaster was broken but that was fixed pretty quickly. It was strange how they immediately knew that the power went out because of the toaster???

The apartment was spacious and tidy. The location is great. The apartment has a very, very long hallway. We didn't mind it because the kids had fun with it. Right next door was a big store with everything you need which was also a big plus.
