Small family hotel at the main road gate into Valletta. Superb location just a short walk from very centre. Staff are excellent very nice and efficient. Room with a nice view over plateau in front of hotel. Balcony breakfast area bot internal and external. Vey nice breakfast good choice of hot and cold food. I won't be putting anything in what I didn't like. But, hotel is an older property and is tired it has all the facilities in the rooms but is as I say tired. Good value for the money I paid, clean and friendly. Bar provision is by way of a linked cafe/bar.

I have stayed here before a few times. Location is excellent. Short walk to the Bus Terminus, short walk to The Upper Barrakka Gardens, a short walk to Republic Street & Merchant Street Lovely restaurant on the roof of the building with great views. Single Room, quite adequate for a nights stay Its not perfect but great value for money in a central location

The only thing that I didn't like was the bathroom and the shower which were very old and didn't work properly! The shower head was broken and couldn't fix it to stay up, so you had to hold it with one hand which made it difficult to wash your hair specially if you have long hair like mine! The faucet was so old that it would take few seconds for the water to come out. The water pressure was low too.

The location couldn't be better! It is 3-10 minutes from all the attractions on Castile Plaza and 3 minutes walk to the bus stop for the airport or going to visit other cities. Also, few minutes walk from the ferries. The staff were amazing and very kind and friendly. Breakfast was great with lots of options on the rooftop with a fantastic view of Valetta and the sea! I really enjoyed having breakfast there every day :) Also, it was nice to have a little refrigerator in the room to keep water bottles and my fruits.

The air conditioning broke down half way through our stay. Otherwise, it was very good.

I think the hotel could benefit from some refurbishment. The bathroom looked quite worn, and I noticed dark spots in the corners that might indicate black mold. One night, there was a disruption in the water supply that took several hours to resolve. I understand that some issues may be beyond the hotel's control, but guest comfort should always be a top priority. I also believe that if a hotel room doesn't have a carpeted floor, it would be a good idea to provide slippers for guests.

I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, and my room was cleaned daily. I also enjoyed having breakfast on the hotel's terrace with a view of Valletta.

No A/C in the room, A/C or at least a fan would be nice as it does get very hot and sticky in summer. It's a lovely old building though .

Ideally situated for me to access the lift down to the Cruise terminal, with just a short walk. Plug sockets in Malta are the same as the UK. It's basic but clean, and the staff are very nice. I arrived after midnight and this was not a problem.

A bit of a black mold in the shower and the fire alarm was switched on at 3am………… it was not a fault of the hotel, I guess, however we couldn’t get asleep again. Hotel is ok, just very old.

Wonderful location, restaurant on the roof has astonishing view. Lovely receptionist.

There are some steps to get to the elevator.

Wonderful location, in the midst of the historic center. Beautiful view from my room. Excellent breakfast on the roof-top terrace with fabulous views ! The ambience on the terrace, plus the views mean you want to spend a lot of time just gazing over the city as you eat, sip your coffee.
