The two women I dealt with on reception were excellent, very helpful and knowledgable. Both had good English which I really appreciated. Location great for museum, state store and the square. Lots of restaurants in street plus very good chef at Urgoo.

No hot water in the bathroom (Room 404). Not fixed during my stay, but they did organise for me to shower in another (unoccupied) room when I needed. This worked out fine, but was a bit of a hassle. A larger mug / cup would have been good for tea / coffee.

Mostly great - friendly staff, a nice breakfast, good wifi speed for conference calls and a comfortable bed. Really couldn't ask for much more.

The staff is so friendly and allow me to check in early when there is room available. However, good to inform hotel your expected time of arrival especially if you are arriving at midnight as the main door maybe locked

Water flow was very weak from the shower head. I found couple of hair in my omelette on my last breakfast.

Perfect location, friendly workers, comfy and large rooms. Breakfast is adequate and they can take it to your room if you like.

The Austalian style electric outlets. If I had known I would have brought the correct adapter.

The suite is huge, but there are tons of minor issues, like holes in the wall. Breakfast is pretty average. You need to wait really long to get hot water. On the last day, they told me there would be no breakfast at all - and after some moment of confusion just brought a single toast.

The only good thing here is the location.

Whilst the rooms are very clean, they are warn and could do with a repaint. Having stayed at several higher range hotels in Mongolia, this is a consistent theme and this place is great value, location and service.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately one staff member didn't speak English, but they tried very hard to help with a translator.

the breakfast was a mixed bag, with some items not as expected (waffles, oatmeal). Unfortunately, the hotel's interior showed signs of wear, particularly the carpets, bathroom facilities, cabinets, and desk, and the water quality was subpar. Note that there is no AC in the rooms.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, perfect for exploring the city's sights, theaters, restaurants, and shops on foot. The staff were a highlight, incredibly helpful and multilingual, going above and beyond to assist during our 5-night stay. Comfortable bedding and adequate cleanliness were positives, and both rooms were comfortably warm during our winter stay. Despite the issues, I would still choose to stay here again if the price is reasonable. We stayed in a chain hotel in Ulaanbaatar after our flight was canceled, and the Urgoo Hotel's location still beats chain`s comfort for me.

Little hotel right in the center of the town in a silent pedestrian street with quite a few restaurants. The hotel iself is also very calm, with a caféteria and a small shop. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, but the language barrier was sometimes frustrating. The lady at the reception was, however, very competent and skillful, both in English proficiency and organisational skill. She will help you find a driver to any part of Mongolia!
