Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo Bar in Hotel. Breakfast awful. No Cereal, No Cups, No Orange Juice. No Tea, No Cold Milk. Rest of breakfast very unappealing. Staff were not that welcoming on arrival. Also when we handed our room key in at reception the young lady on duty, did not even ask us if we had enjoyed our stay. Just took the key off me. The staff definyneed proper training.
Hotel was in a good location. Room was very nice with Kettle. Bathroom very nice. Hotel Foyer very nice.

LatviaIn the lobby you can smoke, at least it smell like that, so they try to avoid the smell with some oils and at the end it is terrible smell. The bathroom is clean but water deposits are every where and it makes dirty feeling. It seems the air conditioner did not work at our room, so it was very hot.
The location is perfect for hotel, you are right in the city center. You can park the car in front of hotel. Nice breakfast, however the coffee is not the best.

AlbaniaI did not like the fact that they have different prices for double and twin rooms even though the rooms are the same. The towels we had in the room smelled of tobacco.
I liked the location of the hotel which was near the historical part of the city and near the new part of the city too. The hotel was relatively new and the rooms were nice. Breakfast was good.

United KingdomDefinitely a hotel for one night only. Room was small, but the bathroom was nice. Telephone wasn’t connected. Breakfast was bleak, with little variation. Restaurant was only open in the morning. Nothing available in the evening. Staff were shabbily dressed, jeans and t shirt, not very professional. Location was ok, a good walk into Macedonia square. I certainly won’t return. Not helped by being written off by a taxi driver, who are quite confrontational. I guess you get what you pay for and I was caught.

NorwayOn 9.02 we arrived late, around 10 p.m. at the hotel, the next morning we were awakened by a loud noise of chiseling and cutting, construction dust everywhere. Nowhere in booking was it noted that the hotel is undergoing repairs, and we paid the full price for a place where it is not possible to stay during the day while the workers work. In this case, I was misled and paid the full price.
