How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

In our room there was no table next to the bed on one side and room lacked power sockets. There was also an annoying step between room and bathroom, but these above are little things.
Great hotel in amazing location. There's a spacious parking, rooms are in good standard and hotel crew is very helpful. Breakfasts are tasty. Next to the hotel there's a bus stop with multiple connections.

We spent a night in Skopje. Nice and clean rooms were offered by Hotel Centar, really close to the city centre (few minutes walk). Closed parking place included in price, next to the building, separated with fence. We received delicious breakfast.

We liked very much. If we come to Skopje , we would stay again.
It was excellent. I would like to thank the gentlemen at front desk for everything that he made our stay in Skopje very comfortable. He speaks excellent English and explained everything about hotel policy and answered all the questions we asked. Also, breakfast was very good with rich selections.

They might have modified it by now, but they were offering free coffee. I absolutely understand why they changed the policy, but an alternative (self-service instant/tea) could be less exhausting. Or just don't mention it at all. It is fine without. If the rooms have a kettle, that would be enough for me to bring my own sachets. I am easy with that.
I liked the fact that the room was so big and the swimming pool next door.

Hotel Centar impressed with its modern rooms, cleanliness, and friendly staff. The location is perfect — close to everything yet quiet at night. Great breakfast and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is situated in walking distance to the center, parking space for big cars available, the stuff and breakfast were also great.

The room was okay, a bit dated in terms of furniture and bathroom, but clean and spacious, so no complaints there. I used the fitness room early in the morning, and it had everything needed for a standard workout. The pool was closed at 6:00 a.m., though I must admit I didn’t ask the staff about the official opening hours. Breakfast was pretty good – nothing fancy, just a standard selection, but it was fresh and satisfying.

Was woken up several times by the sounds in the other rooms above and next door. Cardboard walls and floors.
The young lady at the reception was excellent and helpful.

Wifi could be faster. And a bar would be nice.
Very friendly staff, nice simple but plentyfull breakfast. Olympic pool is next door. Excelent location. Close to city centre. Majority of things to do in Skopje can be visited on foot. Also good parking. For me most important was unexpected quiteness of the location even though so close to city centre.

It is quite old and they use boilers for hot water. Also the building looks like a warehouse from outside.
The location is near the center of the city. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was diverse. The hotel has parking.

The bed is soft- my family is okay with it but too soft for me. The pool is only to be used in a restricted time.
The location is quiet and in the center, and there is a huge Olympic pool. The breakfast is good.

Sometimes the noise from other rooms could be heard but nothing else.
Access to a pool was great and generally everything was as it should have been. The staff were very friendly especially the chief Sveti who accommodated my vegan dietary requirements so well - thank you 😊
