Room facilities could be improved

Lovely place to stay with wonderful bungalows made the traditional way. The common areas are very nice and delicately decorated, the garden is stunning. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Although we would be happier with some more facilities like heating and hair dryer in the room as it was pretty cold, we enjoyed our stay very much and were really happy with the experience.

Lots of flies. I’m sensitive to them buzzing and landing on me. No one else seemed to be bothered but they drive me nuts.

The mattress in the room was quite old and I could feel the springs in my back. We also learnt that the hotel only served meals to guides only after their guests had been served first, which meant that many guides did not stay on the property and instead had to travel to the nearest hotel to eat at a decent time.

Very beautifully designed hotel that has all the right boxes ticked in terms of cleanliness, aesthetics, food and activities. The beautiful aboretum and the good food were the highlights of our stay there.

We loved Auberge de la Table and can highly recommend it. The family bungalow was spacious and has tasteful decoration. One sleeps right next to the Arboretum. Food was great. Staff very welcoming. We will be back!

The drive there is very rough, but totally worth it. Get a good driver.

Amazing multilingual staff, incredible and fairly priced food and drinks, relaxing atmosphere. Immaculately clean and butiful. Everyone was very helpful. Strong wifi, hot water, comfortable beds. We stayd for one night on our road trip and enjoyd great food and great, quiet sleep.

We stayed here for one night after a flight from Antananarivo to break up the journey to Isalo. It completely exceeded our expectations and we could have stayed longer. It is a lovely hotel with gardens, the bungalows are so pretty and clean and very comfortable and a lovely dinner! The staff were friendly and helpful, we particularly enjoyed our night walk to see the mouse lemurs with our guide who spoke great English and new everything about the plants and animals we saw. Thank you!

The food was ok. At this period of the year, more blankets are needed I think. I am not sure if the pool was free or not, but with the price of the rooms, i hope it is.

The decor is stunning. The hospitality of the staff is excellent.

The best part of the trip was the amazing tour of Jeanto. He guided us for an entire day with a lot of passion about everything he knows about the area. He is an expert in the flora and fauna of the place and loves telling about it and he is able to combine this with many jokes and laughes that brighten up your entire day!

The family bungalow was too small for our liking and there is no AC. We almost didn’t sleep because it was too hot and the fan upstairs didn’t help at all. The swimming pool was also dirty

What we did not like about the property is the way we were treated (very poorly) upon arriving and checking in. When I asked if we could put in our luggage in the room before checking in, the new employee stopped us from from going any further, pushing our luggage back. He said he needed to call the manager(female)on the phone and that it would last one minute. It lasted ten minutes. We had been traveling for six hours and did not appreciate this poor customer service.

The public restrooms were pretty disgusting and our driver had to take a hotel in town as their room looked like a „zebu barn“. The staff didn’t seem very motivated and overall the property seemed not to be taken very much care of.
