My wife and I recently stayed at Villa Jwi Lavi Boutique Hotel in Saint Martin for a weekend getaway (March 29-31, 2025), and it was a delightful experience! This charming boutique hotel is tucked away in a peaceful spot in Cul-de-Sac, just a short drive from Grandes Cayes Beach, Orient Bay and Anse Marcel. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet escape with easy access to some of the island’s best spots on the French side—though you’ll definitely need a car to get around. The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with all the essentials: comfy bed, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. I loved the little touches like the electric kettle and the seating area—perfect for unwinding after a day out. Our rooms had a lovely balcony with sea views. The shared lounge and terrace were highlights for me. The pool area is small but inviting, and it was great to relax there with a view of Pinel Island in the distance. Breakfast was a simple continental affair—freshly baked croissants, juice, and coffee—but it hit the spot each morning. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering tips on nearby hikes and beaches, which made the stay feel personal and welcoming. Free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and the free private parking was a big plus. It’s not a luxury resort by any means, but for a boutique stay with a cozy, homey vibe, it’s hard to beat. I’d happily return for the tranquility and great value—highly recommend for couples or anyone wanting a laid-back Saint Martin base

There was an issue with our booking where the card we used got declined for a 'fraud alert' by booking.com. Because of this, someone swooped in on the last day we had initially booked despite it taking us just several hours to respond to the booking.com fraud alert. We had to adjust our stay at this hotel for one less day.

The owners were available, communicative, and wonderful to work with. They were helpful and provided great insight into the island and provided good recommendations. Me and my fiancee got engaged while we were staying there and they got us two beautiful mugs to take with us home. We'll forever have them. The hotel room was clean, spacious and the balcony was a nice addition. There are only 5 rooms in the hotel so it is very boutique. Because of this the morning breakfast felt inclusive and a sense of community came from it as we saw the same faces almost every morning. The other guests almost felt like our neighbors. 10/10 would recommend. This is a great find and we are thrilled we started our trip here building a sense of calm, community, and wonder for our entire duration.

Three things stand out - for the price , the Breakfast was a disappointing . The same fresh Baguette and croissants every morning ( no cheese , no salads , no eggs etc. ) did not meet even the modest European standard . It was just tedious . ( although good quality and well presented ) It was also too early @9:30 last call . . When on Holiday sometimes you don’t want to get yr rear out of bed before 10am . Owners need to invest in Mosquito / fly Mitigation devices - they were awful . Finally who decided to open up the bathroom area to the bedroom - C’mon at least a partition in the toilet area ???? It is an annoyance in an otherwise well appointed room . Ask for current pictures , there is now a beautiful view but I fear there will be a future development right in front and then the view will be gone .

The location is great - on the French side near Orient Bay , Ance Marcel and Grand Case . Much quieter though . You can hear Roosters every AM , there are wild Donkeys and lots of birds . The Villa is all new and while hardly luxurious / grand , adequate and extremely well taken care of by the Very Friendly Owners . A small country Inn .

The view (neighborhood) could be better ... the direct surrounding is a villa area only., You definetely need a car ... ! The breakfast is a bit simple, but the coffee is the best we had on the island ... !

Villa Jwi Lavi is a modern, very comfortable property located in a quiet and safe area. The room is big (including bathroom) and clean. The balcony and its view are a plus. The owners were welcoming and provided insightful details about the island as well as recommendations of what to do and what to avoid

Only staying a week - we wish it was longer!

Sweetest place to stay, best hosts! Breakfast was fantastic (they even catered to my gluten free diet). Hosts provided great tips and information and even offered up their home when we had an issue with our flight and we were maybe going to be delayed. Room was modern and just everything we could have needed. Not on the beach but honestly it was better since you are a close drive from all of the best areas in the island. Don't hesitate to book this place - you will love it.

Wonderful property, really cared for with love. Fantastic view on the Atlantic Sea and St. Barth. Seemed to be located in the best part of the island. That it was so close to Pinel Island was a big bonus. Cyril was a great host, super helpful and good to talk to. We received very precise instructions how to find the Villa. Great breakfast. Home-made croissants. Excellent WiFi.
