How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Dear, Our hotel has all the reports on regular disinfection and pest control. If there were bedbugs, you would have visible bites. The only insect that could be in the room is the one you brought with your luggage. After each guest leaves, the room is thoroughly cleaned. We would have liked if you had left your first and last name and not an anonymous review so that we could contact you and see what the problem is. Regards!

Verified reviewThe hotel is located in a recently built skyscraper, so it is very modern. It is a kind of residence, so rooms are huge and equipped with a kitchen. It has a private garage, which is very convenient if you are coming by car. On the top floor it has a rooftop bar, which has a great view over Budva, not to be missed.

1. WiFi was not working in d room, only in the lobby & nobody was trying to fix it. Elevator was not working most of time so daily u need to climb by stairs. 2. Breakfast was cold & without refill 3. Low quality of coffee during breakfast 4. No refill from house-keeping such as coffee, hair conditioner even on arrival day. 5. Disturbing light & noise at night till late from the club Infront of hotel. 6. Only 1 door key was given to three of us in d flat 7. I had chosen WOW hotel to celebrate my anniversary birthday with my closest friends and this hotel disappointed me a lot as no special arrangements were made and we had faced inconvenience.

A new large hotel is being built right next to the hotel, completely blocking the view – this was not mentioned during the booking process. Our balcony faced directly onto the construction site. We were also given a room on the ground floor. We asked for a possibility to change rooms, but no action was taken. The rooms are spacious, but the quality is declining. In our large room, the parquet floor had lifted up – a real risk of injury. The bathroom also showed signs of wear and tear. Hotel staff were not communicative and didn’t smile. The young man serving breakfast didn’t manage to say “good morning” even once. The breakfast itself was quite mediocre. There was some variety, but the quality was rather poor. At no point did we feel welcome in the hotel. The hotel has convenient underground parking, but it costs €20 per night, which seems too expensive. Housekeeping entered the room even when the “do not disturb” sign was on the door. 3 star hotel

Verified reviewThe room was clean, very spacious, and nicely designed. The hotel has an excellent location, just a short walk from the beach. The cleaning staff was incredibly friendly. Also, the city itself was vibrant, family-friendly, and full of kind, welcoming people.
The rain shower was broken, the toilet lid was damaged, and there was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling. The reception staff was mostly unfriendly. The kitchen in the apartment lacked basic utensils, making the stove unusable. Breakfast was poor: limited selection, no refills near the end, and the coffee was undrinkable.

Trying to be constructive..standard studio: Kitchen: Despite photos and facilities listed, this room does not comply Kitchen only useful if having snacks or keeping things chilled in fridge No cooking allowed despite there being a 2 ring hob, so nothing provided for it. No microwave ..as listed No dishwasher ..as listed No washing up liquid and cloth or towel to dry dishes No clothes drying rack.. as listed No ironing facilities .. as listed Breakfast: Booked this hotel for the last 4 days of a months travel so wanted a 5* treat, including big buffet choices No buffet served …told have to be more than 15 guests… Food was provided and was very nicely prepared but was from a menu and it was unclear what could be ordered except eggs. Staff: Very low on staffing and when addressing all of my issues with the receptionist she answered me but was at no time helpful or apologetic The breakfast menu was not explained by anyone..ie apparently you could order cereal and eggs, fruit, whatever you wanted. Fruit was whole pieces so you had to fashion your own fruit salad (no big deal I know) Never was it advised the hotel had a rooftop bar and pool which we found out about on the last day The spa / sauna has a sign by the stairs but again we were not told it was a facility There is a huge lack of customer service here and perhaps it is not what they are aiming for as it will possibly sell in trend Location: Central but car park and road views I have never had cause to complain before hence trying to be constructive. Dear, It was clearly stated that the kitchen is a tea room and that cooking in the facility is not allowed. You were offered to cancel your reservation free of charge because you misunderstood the kitchen, which you did not want. There was no excuse for apologizing, because you were provided with very good service, a large selection of breakfast and the option to search for whatever you want. Depending on the number of guests, the hotel chooses a buffet or a la carte breakfast, so that you can get a fresh and ready-made breakfast at any time. Every day the room is cleaned, the staff washes your dishes and cleans everything so that you do not need any cleaning and washing machines or products, as in all other hotels. Ironing facilities are enough to ask the staff to bring them and prepare them in just a few minutes. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations, but for your expectations it is a private accommodation where you do everything yourself, not a hotel.

Parking NOT included, and its not clear when you book it. Room doesnt have even coffee machine that works, mini bar empty and cant use kitchen.
