How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It was hot and the AC system was a bit loud at night but it was not too bad...
Very close to the centre so the location is convenient and the neighbourhood is quiet. Ana was always very kind and provided information every time I needed.I recommend this place.

Lack of public transport between Harbour area and airport/ bus depot.
Close to Harbour area. Air conditioned Pleasant and very helpful host.

We did not really liked that we had to share the bathroom with other guests. There was only one bathroom in the house, and everyone used that.
Our host, Ana, is just the most brilliant woman ever! She was super responsive on WhatsApp and helped us through our transport challenges between Tivat and Kotor. The room was immaculately clean, same for the bathroom. The bed was also very comfortable. We only spent one night here, but we loved its conveniency and how close it was to the downtown.

Ana (host) was welcoming and polite. Communication was excellent - she answered right away. She helped me where to park the car. Bed was comfy. There is air conditioner in the room. Bathroom is shared. Location is great - 5 min walk from center. Excellent value for money.

The bathroom is shared with Anas family but it wasn’t an issue for us as we were never waiting more than 2 minutes. There also was an incident where a man walked in to our room during the day without knocking while we were lying in bed (we forgot to lock the door). He said he came in to check that there was no leak in the room because it had been raining pretty heavily. I’d just recommend to lock the door.
The location was fantastic and Ana was really welcoming. The beds were comfy and towels were provided. There are facilities to wash and air dry clothes:) The AC was an absolute godsend as well. There’s also a fridge, hot plate, kitchen sink, kettle, and cutlery provided.

Great choice for the money. Perfect for short stay like in my case.

The host was so kind and helpful. They picked up us from airport by car. They tried to give information about city. The room and bath were clean. Thank you for sharing house and facilities with us.

I can't say as I only stayed 1 night before our flight home
It was only a 1 night stay but the family were very nice and I had a nice big room..nice quiet area with nice neighbours and big veranda

Despite being assured that the main door would be accessible at all times, we returned to find it locked on one occasion. This situation caused inconvenience, as we had to ring the bell and potentially disturb other guests to gain entry.
The room was conveniently situated, just a 10-minute walk from Porto Montenegro. This proximity allowed us to easily explore the marina, restaurants, and other attractions nearby without any hassle. Considering the overall experience and the location's advantages, the room provided excellent value for money.

It's a 20 minutes walk to the center and there is no connection by public transportation
Ana was really nice! Thank you very much. The bedroom is more than enough for one person.

The owners partner who was there when we arrived couldn’t speak a word of English and put us in the wrong room, after an hour he had to move us to a different room. The house is tiny with a single bathroom for three rooms including the owner, so it is filled with all their belongings. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the center. It was extremely hard to find the house.

You are very much in a family home - all sharing same bathroom and was a bit noisy in the house. Beds were fold out beds so are very basic. For one night it is okay but very simple.

The house manager is a wonderful woman!!! She gave a lot of helpful advice, and her care for the guests was evident. She provided us with a beach blanket and sunscreen. Very talkative and a truly amazing woman!

but we did not expect that we will have a room in a house, where lives a great family, therefore, there was kids shouting and vacum cleaning when we were trying to take a nap, and TV watching at night when we tried to sleep.
