How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No swimmingpool
Location .. in the middle of the porto .. surronded of the cafes , restaurants , shops , atm , supermarkets .. Nice view 😍 Good breakfast Helpful staff And there were only one thing i would like to mention .. DO not buy from the pharmacy behind the hotel .. they stole my wallet !! No swimming pool .. but you can book in beach clubs or renting sunbeds in the beaches 🫶🏼

Right on the quayside in Tivat - with a lively terrace and great service. Friendly and attentive staff and comfortable and welcoming room. Large selection at breakfast with something for everyone!

The water when you have a shower does not drain out. It stays in the bathroom till somebody cleans the next day. The slope is in a different direction

I received a room upgrade when I checked in, so had a balcony and sun lounger, which was so lovely. Staff at reception were really helpful.

There were small crumbles on the carpet, which I guess was due to lack of vacuuming.
Great location, just outside Porto Montenegro, in a stunning setting. Amazing views of the sea from the balcony, but it also gets a bit noisy in the evening, nothing absurd though. Good room size and bathroom. Good breakfast buffet with a lot of options, including local good - they could add the name of each item though for foreigners.

I would have preferred more healthy options for breakfast instead of so many sweets.
Great location by the sea, reception service excellent: welcoming, helpful, nice & smiling, shared many tips and available at any time. Our room was quiet and easy to access on the 2nd floor.

Plenty of breakfast staff, but not very attentive. Every time, except once, I had to ask for cutlery and a serviette.
Very happy with my choice of Hotel Pine due to its great location on the picturesque Tivat waterfront, close to the town centre, and only a few kilometres from Tivat airport. A good starting point for my holiday in Montenegro, with the relaxed Tivat atmosphere and a Boka Bay cruise boat departing right outside the hotel. My room was very comfortable with plenty of storage space and a writing desk. The toiletries were of great quality and very pleasant to use. Maria at the reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and looked after. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with all sorts of wonderful savoury and sweet culinary creations. However, I would have liked some simple muesli and yoghurt to be included. Each evening I enjoyed a swim in the crystal clear water just off the promenade. I ended up extending my stay by an extra two nights, including the night before my departure due to the hotel’s proximity to the airport. During the first five nights I enjoyed a quiet Mountain View room with a large terrace with table and chairs. On my last night I was offered a room with beautiful sea views, but I could hear noise from the restaurants and promenade below until late. I recommend Hotel Pine.

The windows need to be more sealed or changed because it could be a little noisy.
Exceptional location, parking is very near 2 minutes away, very good variety in the breakfast, room view was great, and clean rooms.

The area is slightly noisy and busy in the evenings, this might not suit everyone.
Beautiful location looking out across the bay. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby if you like a busy nightlife. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection was excellent, the cooked breakfast was particulary good! All in all, an excellent location for further adventures in Tivat.

There was nothing to dislike
The position of the hotel was perfect with great views across the bay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and the restaurant good was excellent as were the buffet style breakfasts with a vast range of food
