Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

I usually do not book rooms with a shared bathroom, and I overlooked that detail when I booked. But, the host kept it clean, and the other guests were polite.
Cozy, comfortable, easy to find parking. The hosts came in to clean everyday. They were very helpful and attentive. I liked the outside sitting area.There was an air-conditioner in our room.

A lamp in the bedroom to help with the main blue light bulb at night would be ideal! Dogs barking one morning next door very early- hard to help!
Easy walk from bus and train station, very close to supermarket, and town only couple of blocks away. Kept in very clean condition. Bathroom and kitchen shared with 3 rooms and excellent shower! Room was bright with natural light and good AC.

I did not know that the property is essentially a hostel with 3 private rooms and 1 shared bathroom. Though I would have preferred having my own place, I booked an extra week because of all the positive aspects of the hostel.
The check in process was very smooth since the hostess was waiting fo me to arrive. The hostess and her family were extremely hospitable and even provided wonderful fresh juice, cookies, and coffee. The hostel is exceptionally clean and in a prime location right next to downtown. The kitcheb has a stove top and thus cooking one's own meals is possible. I like the ambience of the serene neighbourhood. The bedrooms are in excellent condition and thus provided great comfort. Moreover, the triple room has over 200 cable channels. Numerous free towels are available and doing laundry is free.

Very friendly hosts. Good location, convenient for the bus station on a quiet street. Secure. Good facilities. The hosts can also help with transport e.g. to the airport and other locations. Good A/C and WiFi.

I liked everything.
I had some issues with my first accommodation when I arrived in Podgorica, so I quickly looked for another place. Nina’s apartment was available — and within 5 minutes, she was already there waiting for me with a warm smile. From the very beginning, both she and her father were kind and welcoming. The apartment is even better than in the pictures. The bed was super comfortable, and the location is very convenient — close to the bus station and several supermarkets. I definitely recommend staying with Nina. Thank you, Nina, for your kindness and hospitality! 😊

Nothing!
It’s the sort of place where you feel welcomed and instantly at home. Very relaxing, very clean, everything you need to self-cater. Shops nearby and an easy walk to bus station. The family also offer very reasonably priced airport pickup and I was very pleased I chose this, and they were very understanding about the fact that my flight was late.

Place is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the bus stop and a slightly longer walk to the centre. Family who ran it were really nice and helpful, bed was great, bedroom was big, kitchen well stocked and I enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard in the cool of the evening.
