The best place we stayed in Monténégro. Milo and the team were super nice with us and the kids and gave us lots of tips on the area. The place was perfect distance from the village to have some quite nights and at the same time all you need from the village. The breakfast were amazing and room was perfect size for the 4 of us. A place we will certainly remember and hope we will be able to come back.

We had a great stay at Lake Valley! It is in a quiet location, away from the busy town. Milo is an amazing host who goes above and beyond. He helped to book a kayak tour and also shared other recommendations. The home-cooked food is very tasty (especially the trout!). Milo also recommended a very nice restaurant where we enjoyed great food and the view over the lake. If we ever come back to Lake Skadar, we will book here again without a doubt.

Lake Valley was sublime. It was a tranquil oasis of calm after a stressful drive. Milo couldn't do enough for us, and the bungalows were so comfortable. We loved the pool, which was open late, so after dinner, swimming was possible. We had dinner and breakfast, which was delicious, freshly cooked, and arrived promptly, complete with a glass of his family wine. The boat trip by Magdalena Boat ws also amazing. We cannot recommend Lake Valley enough. It was simply incredible.

Lake Valley is a serene and beautifully maintained property. And Milo is the best host you could ask for. From making us dinner when we arrived on a late flight, providing recommendations of where to visit, to finding me an emergency dentist and making everything as stress free as possible. We also appreciated the flexibility to enjoy our own food along with the food we ordered (perfect solution for kids) when we wanted. Just a small tip: it can be a bit tricky to find – after you cross the bridge, make a sharp right turn and just follow the road straight. It’s absolutely worth it.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

In our month long hiking/road trip of Montenegro this was our little splurge for our modest budget, and totally worth every penny. It was one of the tidiest, well appointed, adorable places we stayed in our time. We really enjoyed some of the amenities we otherwise rarely found in Montenegrin accommodations like the pool, hair conditioner, an ice tray and on site reception. The host was super friendly and very accommodating. We loved the location just outside of town on a quiet street with great views. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

We had a magical stay at Lake Valley. The room was beautifully finished and very well equipped. The pool was wonderful to relax at in the sunshine. Milo was an exceptional host, he was always available through WhatsApp and catered to all our needs. We enjoyed breakfast and evening meals out on our balcony and the food cooked by Milo was delicious. The location was excellent with great proximity to Virpazar for boat tours, Milo recommended a local tour company (Magdalena boat tours) who picked us up from lake valley and provided and wonderful tour. Would highly recommended them.

Easy to find. Great location. Absolutely exceptional host. Mila helped organise a mobile mechanic to repair a puncture in the tire of our rental car. He even helped us change our vehicle drop off destination in a different country when we had to unfortunately cut our trip short due to daughter being unwell - and this was days after we had finished our stay with him. He even rang to check in on us. Thank you, Mila!

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this property is cared for with an obsessive attention to detail that’s rare even in the luxury hospitality world. The landscaping is pristine, the pool reflects the sky like a mirror, and every element—from the layout of the garden paths to the positioning of the loungers—feels intentional and harmonious. The owner, Milo, is not only gracious and welcoming, but also clearly invested in the guest experience. He kindly upgraded my room, which featured a large and supremely comfortable bed, immaculate finishes, and a sense of quiet elegance. The space itself was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, allowing me to truly relax after long days of travel. As someone who works in high-end aviation and manages people and environments where excellence is non-negotiable, I have to say: Milo’s approach mirrors that same standard. He brings a sense of pride, craftsmanship, and care that goes beyond hospitality—it’s a form of artistry. A particular highlight was the sunset boat ride he recommended. It was serene, cinematic, and completely transformative. Sitting on that boat as the sky turned gold and the reeds swayed around us felt like stepping into a still-life painting.

There really are no negatives.

It's exactly how it looks on the pictures. Spotlessly clean. 15m walk into Virpazar (but unlit) - perfect if heading in for a boat cruise. Milo was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. His enthusiasm is so infectious. He really makes this place click. He really couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. The setting is beautiful. You could just stop by the pool all day.

I don’t consider it a mark against Lake Valley, but this is a mile walk from town on a somewhat narrow road. It was perfectly fine for an adult couple that didn’t want to be right in the center, but if you have children maybe not the best option. But otherwise I can’t think of anything I didn’t like!

The property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The pool was great, especially during a warm afternoon. It is a mile walk from town but for us that was fine as we were able to escape the busyness of Virpazar and just relax.
