How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The whole staff was extremely nice and attentive. We had such a good experience checking in, being informed about the area, and we had an amazing dinner at the restaurant.

The breakfast is a la carte and just basic. It's not really tasteful,but for someone else, it could be good enough. Not in walking distance from the city center, but if you have car or take a taxi ,it is ok.
The rooms we stayed in were brand new! The staff was really friendly and helpful. There are a lot of free parking spaces.

There could have been a kettle in the room.

Lovely place not far from the airport. This is our second time staying at Laguna and I'm sure we will revisit. Very reasonably priced both for accommodation and food, and friendly helpful staff.

Hotel located on the way to western part of Montenegro, Easy accessable, easy to find, with friendly personell. There is noticeable upgrade from my last stay six years ago. Strongly suggested location to stay.

Would appreciate to know upfront when the hotel is closing the restaurant before scheduled time. We came from the airport hoping to eat dinner, as the restaurant was supposed to be open for another hour, but it turned out we had to drive and look for food because they closed it early.
Very clean, amazing hot strong shower in the room, comfy bed, clean fresh linen. Delicious breakfast with many options. Overall a great stay!

We just had some issues with the lack of hot water initially, which were resolved.
The room and the breakfast were good for the price. Staff were very friendly and they made us a packed lunch with sandwiches for free, which was very appreaciated.

needs a renevotion. i think it's family business, so there was a single young lady to serve for the diner and also for check in. the hotel is not too big. so it wasn't a problem for us. we stayed in the first floor. so other guests passing by our door and had all the noises
fair hotel for short stay. easy to reach on the way. restaurant has a nice menu. also for breakfast you can order from the menu. large bathroom.

The hotel was quite far from the centre, but we knew this when we booked it. This isn't a complaint, but more for information. The walk into the centre takes around 45 minutes.
The hotel was very clean and the room comfortable. We booked for 2 adults and 1 child and the room we were given was very spacious. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We booked with breakfast and this was huge with a very good menu selection. The hotel is great value for money and we would return again.

Stairs, if you are young and healthy its fine, but it was not easy for me to climb those stairs, and hallway was little confusing, also theres no iron in the room

Very nice and helpful staff. Very spaceous room and lovely breakfast. The Hotel is located in a remote location from Rail & Bus stations. Public buses (line 1 & 9) nearest stop (Janka Danovića II) requires around 15 min walk (after You walk pass a neighbourhood od nice houses it turns into a dusty road). Especially if Your in a rush its almost impossible to rely on catching those buses for reaching the city center. Thankfully the Hotel Staff are very eager to help out in this case They ordered a taxi, which took me to the Bus station for 3,2 € while some taxies in Podgorica wanna charge You 10 € for the same distance knowing otherwise Your on Your own with that public bus transport. I AM very thankful to the Staff for taking that extra mile and organizing that inexpensive taxi.
