Staff was very kind and helpful. The dinners were large and tasty. And it was fun to laugh at how awful the experience was after all.

Because it wasn’t a hotel at the true sense of the word. It was a rented floor in the residential house without a proper reception. It was a fake hotel just as were the reviews on booking - generated by AI. The shower didn’t have a wall dividing it from toilet and the water was leaking everywhere. The bathroom stank consistantly. The lamp wasnt working and there were small undone works or faults to be found in the whole room and building.

The entire hotel, including the rooms were modern and clean with cleaning and sheet changes everyday. The location was not the closest to neither the main beaches or the old town but it was a comfortable walk away from all the main sites. The staff and hospitality of the staff were by far the highlight of the stay, always willing to help and assist with any issue. The food was amazing and freshly made with a home cooked feel. Dishes were regional but other options could be requested, with the meals being balanced, nutritious and very tasty!

Location can be a slight disadvantage.

The photos on Bookings does not reflect what is on offer, Its hard to say whether or not this hotel is still under construction or just badly finished. There is no restaurant to speak of, the surrounding area has nothing to offer, and the price is exorbitant compared to other properties nearby. In the end we had to pay cash as his machine was "out of order".

Great Stay – Highly Recommended! The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was perfect close to everything I needed Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to others!

Clean and comfortable hotel 10 minute walk from the bus station. The staff were great. Good food, hot shower and comfortable bed. A bit far from the Sea and promenade but well worth it for a short stay catching the bus. Special thanks to Renaldo! 😌

I had such a great stay at Illyria Hotel! From the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. Plus, the location was perfect—nice and peaceful but still close to everything. Breakfast was definitely a highlight—so fresh and delicious! You can tell they really care about the little details, which made the whole experience even better. I honestly can’t wait to come back. Nice clean hotel no complaints. Good breakfast and decent coffee, nice and clean and friendly staff recommend to any visitors. A little walk in the center of Ulcinj but exactly what we wanted for our stay. All facilities worked fine. Nice reception and bar area

The room was clean, and the furniture was brand new. The room is spacious, well isolated from the outside noise. Staff was kind and helpful.

We had trouble using WIFI in our room. Breakfast had poor options. Issues with smells in the bathroom. Towells were not replaced on time - we had to ask every day for them. Glasses are missing in the room, and the hair dryer is only on demand. There were no chairs on the balcony nor driers for beach towels. It is a new hotel, and they had just opened, hoping they will make these things better for next season.

The property is in an ideal location. It’s close enough to town to walk to the center, yet far enough to avoid the heaviest traffic. Access to the main road is easy, making it convenient to reach the big beach. The room was spotless, with everything thoughtfully arranged and well-maintained. The staff was outstanding and extremely friendly. They ensured we had everything we needed and greeted us each day with a smile, making us feel truly welcome. We also received an upgrade upon arrival, which was a lovely gesture. The breakfast was simple but offered a nice selection of options.

The hotel is still relatively new and could use a few small improvements. The shower lacks a separate wall or glass, so the bathroom tends to flood after each use. The beds were uncomfortable for us, with very hard/firm mattresses and pillows. However, we understand this is a matter of personal preference, and others may find them comfortable. The beds were also quite small, and our feet stuck out during the night.
