Reviews of NEWBORN Hostel Budva

I loved everything about this place. I stayed there for a week, but Volkan was very communicative and made sure I was comfortable there. The owners dedication to ensuring everything is working fine, everything is cleaned, and the guest has everything they need is amazing. He also provide helpful tips of where to go or how to get there. Thank you so much for everything! I had a wonderful time in Budva.

Location is only less than 10 min walk to the bus station. Around 15min walk to the old town. It also has restaurants and markets around. The room is comfortable enough but i guess it may be too crowded if there were full 8 people. I like that it has AC tho.

I hope there was shower curtain in the bathroom so the floor wasnt wet after someone takes a shower.

Location is great, you can walk to beach & Old Town. Cafe & restaurants are close by. Host is great, knowledgeable, approachable and very quick to communicate by msg or WhatsApp. Bed comfortable, working air-conditioning, small but usable kitchen. Power outlet by bunk. Little outdoor area to hang out. Very close (10 min walk) to bus station.

No privacy curtains, no lock on bathroom door. No power outlet by top bunk so have a long cord to reach lower bunk one. Bathroom is small and shower water goes everywhere, floor is always wet. Hostel is on a busy road so can be a little noisy, bring earplugs.

the most attractive place with 1 minute away from everywhere..not loudy like oldtown...no need to walk to the hills...very fast wifi and friendly owners

blankets don't get washed after every use; bathroom & kitchen & floor in the room were dirty; no curtain at the shower & bathroom gets wet and mostly not enough toilet paper; only cash payment; owner & friends of owner live & stay around the hostel and are noisy until late 11pm/12am; no lockers for everyone (4 lockers for 8 people); no towels; no proper window; check-in's during the night (1am) so they wake up the whole room; mould in the bathroom

Anyone can enter. -These good review from some guests for this hostel doesn't feel real after being there. -I do not recommend -No towels provided -They don't clean the room floors, it was dirty.

The private bathroom doesn’t lock, so you can’t use comfortably because you need to keep attention if someone is not trying to enter. The bathroom outside the bedroom was completely dirty all the times that I had to use it. The staff was nice with me, but I had to wait someone to appear after some time when I arrived because the reception is just a table in the kitchen and there wasn’t someone there

The location is perfect. The staff is kind and helpful for anything. Rooms, kitchen and bathroom were clean. It is worth to stay. I will definitely visit there again for my next trip to Budva.

I stayed at this hostel and had a wonderful, relaxing experience. What stood out the most was the Turkish guy who runs the place—polite, helpful, and truly elegant in how he treats guests. Always smiling and ready to assist with anything I needed. The hostel was very clean and quiet, with a perfect location in the heart of the city—close to everything. I especially loved the courtyard; it was cozy, well-kept, and gave a warm, homely vibe. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a simple yet peaceful place to stay.

The bathroom in my room could have been cleaner, and there was a slight odor in some shared facilities — but nothing major. Overall, still a pleasant stay.

Usually I don't leave reviews on booking but this one was worth it. Very close to city center/old town. Host was super nice and accomodating. People staying over were really cool too. Good hostel and facilities. Would definitely recommend.

The host is so lovely and nice and welcoming even pays for your tourist tax, had the best sleep of my life, air con was amazing dark rooms everything I could ask for to be so rested. Perfect location close to everything.

Exceptional location and staff.

The owner is an incredible human being, very humble, and willing to help anytime! I am very picky rating places, but this place was great. The good vibes who transmit the owner to the people make the difference! The location is very good, very close to the beach, restaurants and stores. The environment and guests were also great. I will definitely recommend this hostel to everyone. Not every day you find places and people like this. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY!
