Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The bathroom was a bit outdated and not so practical. It was always wet after having a shower.
It was in Budva center, close to everything, parking was free. The host was friendly and very helpful. I had a fantastic experience staying here!

Bathroom maybe needed a shower curtain
Excellent value accommodation in the centre of Budva. Fully equipped with washing machine, kettle, iron, fridge etc. comfortable bed. Strong shower. Lovely host, very helpful and friendly. Perfect location, less than five minutes from the beach and old town

The guest neighbours came 3 night from 2am to 5am and had a lot of loud fun, but unfortunatelly this one cannot influence. Dishes and floor could be little bit cleaner before our arrival, but cleaning lady probably didnt manage by mistake.
Place was very close to the sea, supermarket, parking and city center. 2 balconies and very nice view. We enjoyed a lot and we were satisfied. The owner was super pleasant and she was helping even to find parking in the city in the evening.

The flat itself is very old and not nice. But it did the job. Just dont expect anything fancy :-D

we really enjoyed our stay!! everything was great- Maca welcomed us really nicely, the room was huge enough, clean and really well kept, we got fresh towels everyday. the air conditioning in the room worked very well. location was also perfect- in the middle of the city centre, but still in the quiet street. everything was veryy close- beach, clubs and grocery stores. i really reccomend the place and if i ever come back to budva i will choose this place to stay again!

No shower curtain or screen so bathroom floor got wet.
Fantastic place with friendly staff and good facilities. Nice studio with a washing machine included. Everything supplied including extra welcome snacks, bottles of water and washing powder. The family running the place are both friendly and efficient. Nice little outdoor area. Helped with all information for the local area. Wonderful price for facilities.

The place is run down and needs some serious upgrading - it has a heavy smell of mold. Parking is not on the premises and there's an extra charge for it.

It states that private parking could be arranged within 100m for €5. However on arrival we were advised to parking on the street which was very difficult as it is so busy. Our hire car was damaged in Less than 24 hours. We wanted the paid for option but poor communication made this difficult. It Was also difficult to find the apartments as they were not signed or labelled at all. Messaged host when standing outside the property and still took half an hour before we were let in. Hosts are lovely but poor communication, lack of secure parking and dated rooms let it down a lot for us.

It would be great if there was just one additional blanket during this mid-season in case it gets cold at night. Water in the bathroom sink was only boiling hot.
Amazing kocation, less then 10 minutes away from the old town by walk. Everything was comfortable and clean. Terrace is very cute and relaxing. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
