Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceAlthough the location might seem remote, is 100% worth the trip: the property is placed in front of a theatre view of a virgin valley, vivid example of the breathtaking nature you find in this country. The private room has its own bathroom, all necessary supplies and is clean and comfortable. But above all there’s Tanja, who will welcome you as a part of the family, with discretion and courtesy. She’s a wonderful cook, and very generous too: make sure to come with a large appetite! We really felt cuddled and taken care of, and I can tell you that’s the rarest and best feeling when travelling abroad. Her son Vladimir offers private boat tours on the lake: he’s an experienced sailor that knows the lake palm by palm, beside being super friendly. The lake tour with Vladimir was the highlight of our stay in the country! Totally recommend! Thank you Tanja, Vladimir and the whole family 🤍

NetherlandsA hidden gem in a unique location – hospitality with a golden touch Getting to Country House Dajković in Dupilo is a bit of an adventure. Google Maps got confused, but Apple Maps eventually showed the way – although I hesitated for a moment when it said I had to cross a river with my rental car. But just go for it! It really is possible, even with a rental. What made this place truly unforgettable was the moment I doubted myself and stopped at a gas station to ask for an alternative route. Within ten minutes, the owner’s son arrived in his car to guide me to the accommodation – yes, across the river! The room was basic, but clean and tidy. A comfortable bed, a fridge, a decent bathroom – everything you need. Upon arrival, I was offered coffee, but opted for a glass of homemade wine from their own vineyard, served with a piece of homemade cake. What a treat! Hostess Tanja then pointed me to the nearby waterfall – about a 30-minute walk through a beautiful forest. Absolutely stunning! When I returned, dinner was served. It was so delicious that I seriously considered staying forever. And the next morning? The breakfast was just as excellent – fresh, generous, and prepared with love. A perfect start to the day. Tanja and her family have created something truly special here. Such warmth, such sincere hospitality. I’d love to come back – next time with my family.

United KingdomNo good if you want to nip to the shop for bits as a long journey to the main road and back but ideal if you want peace and quiet and to experience real life rather than artificial tourism.
We booked this accommodation just a couple of hours before going there based on reviews and price etc. It is in a very quiet, remote but beautiful part of the mountains. Finding it is a bit of a challenge as Google maps gives the wrong directions though Apple Maps is apparently correct (I have asked Google to amend this so hopefully should be corrected soon). The best advice I can give is to head to Cafe River, Orahovo and then continue on that road for about 4km and Country House Dajkovic is the first property in the tiny village of Dupilo. The road is very long and narrow! We also asked to eat our evening meal there, no menu, we were just served traditional Montenegrin food which was plentiful and although not all to my taste was delicious and we were more than full. Lovely family and Tania did everything possible to help and please.

RussiaThe kitchen size is too small to allow for cooking, but I think this is really not needed as you can have home made food by Tatyana.
Tatyana is a great host, we spent 2 nights in her house. The village is up in the mountains, but the road is not difficult, it is alphalt, without extreme turns or dangerous places. It is the 1st house once you arrive. The room is spacious, the bathroom is modern which I did not expect from a village house. Tatyana is a great cook, we enjoyed all the dishes, she gaves us some cakes and also local honey which was delisious. If you are in the region, do stop by, I think this is a very unique experience. The view from the terrace is breathtaking.

United KingdomOur favourite accommodation we stayed in during our Montenegro trip. Tania is the best host and has thought of everything to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Tania is also the best chef and cooked us some incredible homemade Montenegrin dishes for dinner and breakfast... You will not leave hungry. The location is quiet and you can relax and try Tania's homemade wine and lemonade. Could not recommend staying here more!

NorwayIt is very difficult to use google maps to find the place. PS - you should start at the Parking Virpasar, almost opposite of the road from the city of Virpasar. When you drive this way you turn left after about 800 mtr. Se also our picture in order to find the house.
The place is very nice. It is located in the woods in the hills. Tanja is a very warm and welcoming host. We hade a very nice dinner and everything was homemade and based on local food from the garden ++. we also met a nice couple from the US that came all the way from Kotor for only have dinner.

ItalyWe have no complains!
I stayed with my partner one night in this idyllic place. At our arrival, Tanja and Dragan warmly welcomed us with fresh water and ice-cream. Their country house was simply wonderful! The house lays on the slope of the mountain and from the terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the forest, valley and their rich garden - you will be fully surrounded by beautiful nature. We had dinner (not included in the booking costs, we paid extra for it) and breakfast (included). Both were freshly prepared by Tanja, and everything was delicious! Surely, that was the best food of our trip in Montenegro. It is hard to find fresh and traditional food in a normal restaurant in Montenegro, but she gave us an authentic Montenegrin food experience. Moreover, you can easily access to hiking paths from the house. The one to the waterfall is particularly worth it. Thank you Tanja and Dragan for sharing bits of your life with us! Mattia & Vale

United StatesThe Dajkovic property is in a lovely mountain valley. The nearby village of Virpazar is sweet and welcoming and provides stunning views of the north end of Lake Skadar. We were warmly welcomed by Tanja and her family and felt at home. Breakfasts were generous and divine! We enjoyed a short walk down to the waterfall even in the winter weather. We thoroughly enjoyed this corner of Montenegro and would recommend stopping at Country House Dajkovic.

Wow wow wow! Little slice of heaven and just what I needed. Located right in the middle of the mountains, quiet, peaceful and had everything I needed. Tanja was amazing, made me feel so welcomed and went above and beyond with her lovely food and homemade drinks and cakes! Took a lovely walk down to the local waterfall (which is recommended) and spent the rest of the time just relaxing in beautiful surroundings. The room was a really good size, bed was comfy and the bathroom had everything I needed.

GermanyEvery now and then there are a couple of dogs barking during the night, but just bring ear plugs and you're fine. And maybe the water pressure in the shower could be a little higher, but it's fine and that's what you get living in the middle of nowhere :) it's pure luxury apart from that!
Thank you so so much Tanja! Staying with you was the highlight of our Montenegro trip <3 the vegetarian food is just incredible and it's always A LOT! The bed is super comfy and the short walk to a beautiful waterfall as well as the view from the terrace and just the peaceful atmosphere in a tiny village away from everything else are simply amazing. We love your spirit and smile and hope you will be cooking amazing food for many other people that will roll out of your place happy just like we did :D everyone has to try your delicious oregano tea!!!

NetherlandsWish I could stay longer.
Best stay in Montenegro: lovely host, great views, great appartement, hiking trails and best veggie food. The vegetables comes fresh from the garden. It was a treat at night to sit and watch the stars. The wine is really good. The dogs supercute. Don't have any complaints, room is bigger than it looks like on booking. The way to go is via parking Virpazar, take the first road on the left, pass camping and then drive until you reach the house at left side it has a sign (about 10 min drive). You could also ask the host for directions.
