How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewLocation, free parking, hotel as a facility is nice. Walking distance from everywhere important in budva.
I got food poisoning from breakfast all days. The staff were rude specifically the receptionist. Waiters and waitresses were polite and respectful. The hotel needs an overhaul and new management. TV equipment is useless. Big useless closet taking half of the room, it's built nice but for a hotel in the 90's but we are in 2025. Total refreshing is needed everywhere. And the management is poor. How would a 200€ per night be with such horrible attitude and sticky remote controller and channels only for local TV?? Even the food was way below average. I regret every penny I spent here. Total disappointment

Verified reviewThe hotel is located in a great spot, overlooking the main promenade and the sea, close to the most important tourist attractions and a large number of restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is nice, clean, and comfortable – highly recommended with excellent and friendly staff. An additional advantage is the parking, both outdoor and underground (limited number of spaces).
I can't find anything to complain about.

Verified review+parking just behind the hotel +very very clean lingerie +100 metres to sea front +chaise long costs 50€ per 2 in first line, 40€ per 2, in second line, and 30€ per 2 in last line. However, still beside this zone there is a place to rest for free +the sea view room boasts a gorgeous view +bidet in bathroom +wicked cool minibar with wide range of drinks and clear prices for them +incredible breakfast with lots of pastries, cheese, eggs, fried vegetables
-air conditioner was broken so to switch it on/off it was necessary to call the reception

The air condition was a bad experience. To turn on or Off or adjust the temperature you need to call the reception! the digital screen for the AC in the room is not working. it goes sometimes normal, then cold and during the evening super cold.

Verified reviewHotel room was specious with nice balcony overlooking the sea. The view is nice, because of the sea. But, a lot of construction area around so it is questionable how much of the view will remain. Bed was comfortable, good wifi and good air-conditioning.
Breakfast can be much better. The guy working as a manager of the restaurant was very pleasant, offering a coffee, as he noticed that I like expresso, rather than a coffee given in the restaurant.

The room was not only clean and spacious, but also beautifully decorated, with a balcony offering a lovely sea view—perfect for relaxing in the evening. The bed was very comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, including local specialties and great coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and Budva Old Town, yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. Overall, everything from the comfort of the room to the excellent service made my stay memorable. I would definitely return and highly recommend Hotel Bracera to anyone visiting Budva!
Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like during my stay. Everything was well organized, clean, and comfortable. I had a really pleasant experience from start to finish.

Verified reviewThe proximity to the beach and main street was great. The hotel is also across the road from where most tour buses pick up from. The staff went out of their way to assist us with arranging a taxi to Kotor and to ensure a fixed price.
The view of the old bazaar and incomplete buildings wasn't very pleasant - you can't see this in the pictures on the Booking website. The first morning we had breakfast, the food didn't look fresh so we ate out every morning - this was a little disappointing.

Verified reviewWe liked the variety they had for breakfast. The bed was really comfortable. The bidet was an added luxury that we hadn't seen at any of the hotels during our month-long trip.
Some of the light fixtures didn't work. The fridge was stocked with so many of their food/drinks for purchase that we couldn't put our dinner leftovers in there. They need a drying rack.
