I didn t have any cooking facility, just 2 plates and a borrowed bowl for salad.... the place looks very sketchy, not really clean in the backyard where you have to pass to get in the room, looks more like a motel than hostel. Room was clean and had Ac, but very old type of furniture, all decadent on the terrace ... Felt like I wanna leave. Not the type of hostel I traveled in general so didn t socialise with anyone or felt very safe...

The owner and staff was nice, tge owner gave me a wine from the house and tge lady a bowl where to make my salad.

For starters, the number, email and address provided are completely useless! I tried to contact someone for hours because the address on booking.com just takes you to the street not the building. The guesthouse doesn’t exist on Google. I had to wander with my luggage and ask locals all over town. The guesthouse is attached to the Berlin restaurant which isn’t mentioned anywhere. I didn’t get any info or tour upon arrival so I have no idea if or when breakfast is offered. The shower had no pressure or curtain and the bed was terribly uncomfortable. My host was friendly and welcoming so he is the only good thing about the place.

The location was the best part. Having a private room was nice but I booked a room with two beds hoping to meet someone else and I got a one bed room. My host was kind and offered a much needed welcome shot.

Well… I haven’t had any problems with bed bugs and you get what you paid for. Don’t except anything special. It was alright for one night.

Very close to the bus and train station. Short walk to the beach and half an hour to Stari Bar. It was possible to check in 2 hours earlier and he was very friendly to me.

The shower didn't have a curtain so water would flood bathroom and room/corridor could have been a bit cleaner.

The place could be cleaner. It's a little overpriced for what it is. There is no kitchen, but there is an overpriced restaurant.

The host is friendly and really tries to help. For example, he moved me to another room when the shower turned out to have no shower head; he also did his very best at communicating with me in a beautiful mixture of Serbian, English and German. Effort is definitely there!

The location is walkable from the Train / Bus station. The bus coming from the Shkoder dropped us at circle near VOLI supermarket from there it is 2 minutes walk and on the main road, from here we can walk to the church / beach. We had breakfast and lunch from VOLI Supermarket, it is fully equipped and all staff i met speaks English. On the same road by 5 minutes of walk is a family run restaurant Ćevabdžinica Goranac which is frequented by locals we had dinner there the food was good and not too pricey. I met the person running the place on my second day I had to remind him I need to pay for my stay. He said pay now or when you leave it is ok with him

As others have previously said, the rooms need to be cleaned better. This is important.

We had toilet facilities in our room. We had a balcony overlooking small garden. We had aircon which worked OK as it was very hot weather. Wifi worked OK. Fridge in room worked OK. In corridor there was a kettle to use. Owner was welcoming and efficient regarding payment. We ate in the restaurant belonging to the guesthouse. In fact when locating the place, Berlin restaurant has a sign outside where you check in. About a 20 minute walk from the bus station with large supermarkets en route and plenty of cafes, restaurants, beach within walking distance. Reasonably quiet area as it is a busy city. Price of room agreeable.

A bit dated, but overall pleasant place. Everything is clean and works, tho not the newest. Host is pleasant and friendly, payment only in cash. It's on the top of the restaurant of the same name, however, it's not loud at night. 20 mins from train/bus station, 10-15 minutes to the center.

I booked a room and when I reached the staff told me it was fully booked and a room was not available for me. They wanted to give me dinner credits and send me on my way. When I refused they suddenly told me that someone had ‘just’ cancelled and the room was suddenly available. Little weird if you ask me. Would be good if the staff understood basic English as it is listed on an international booking site. Thankfully a kind stranger in the restaurant helped me translate

nice bar/ restaurant downstairs- basic un pretentious property .. suited our needs perfectly.. despite the fact the sitcom wasn't working.. not sure what it would be like in extreme heat!
