The owner was very kind and supportive, the room vas great, the breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent. I highly recommend it. We had some trouble finding the parking area, as the GPS did not recognize the driveway, and we also missed the hotel signs, but the owner was very kind and showed us how to get to the hotel easily.

Nothing to dislike particularly, but well lit mirror in the bedroom would have been extremely helpful. Also a small breakfast menu would have been helpful as a guide to what was available.

The family were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very nice with a large comfy bed and walk in shower. Location was very good on the seafront and having loungers and sun umbrellas at our disposal was a fabulous bonus. Easy walking to local restaurants. Breakfast was very good, we would definitely stay here again.

I want to emphasize everything at Barka: Accommodation smells nice, rooms have everything you need, parking is broad and accessible, breakfast is amazing, location is great (right on the sea), and the owners are really friendly, informative and helpful. I have traveled quite a bit and stayed in many different hotels, but I have never experienced anything quite like this place. The rooms are spotless and beautifully designed, with thoughtful details that make you feel at home. The balcony feels like a private retreat, and the view from the bed – overlooking both the mountains and the sea – is simply breathtaking. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location is outstanding – everything is within easy reach, yet the surroundings are peaceful and scenic. Nestled in a bay, the hotel offers a unique blend of tranquility and accessibility. Whether you're admiring the view or exploring the area, it truly feels like a dream spot. Plentiful free parking spots make it perfect when you have a car. Breakfasts here were honestly one of the highlights of the whole vacation – fresh, delicious, and varied. But what made the experience truly stand out were the hosts. From the very first moment, they welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their care and attention to detail were above and beyond. Barka B’n’b was a perfect choice for my 1 week vacation. I came to Monte Negro for a wedding and some solo travel. Throughout my entire stay I felt safe and welcomed. The owners were kind, helpful, and genuinely took pride in their business. My room was spacious, clean and had a beautiful view of the bay. Breakfast was one of my favorite parts of the day — food was delicious, guests were lovely, and the view of the water from the hotel patio was truly serene. I used the bus for most of my site seeing but I would recommend a car for efficiency/ ease.

This is one of those places that instantly finds a place in your heart. The accommodation is literally right on the beach, you open the window and hear the sound of the waves. A few missing facilities in the room - e.g. there was a kettle and cups, but no coffee/tea or spoons.

Fantastic property. Super clean and modern with really comfortable beds/pillows. This is a family-run BnB and the man and his sons who run it are genuine, kind people who will go out of their way to help you. The breakfast is lovely - I asked for a vegetarian option and there was no issue. The property is located close to the road that runs between Herceg Novi and the ferry terminal of Igalo. It's easy to access if you drive, but there's also the number 1 bus that runs right past the property. The views of the bay from the cafe of the property are stunning.

Extremely clean place with very stylish rooms with seaview balconies. Private little beach across the road allowing us making a short morning dip even when temperatures did not really allow. Everything on walking distance and very nice breakfast. Private parking for car. Would definitely return if visiting the region again.
