How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was perfect!!
The Mali hotel Bambis is a family run hotel. The stuff is lovely and communication was smooth and perfect. They provided everything we asked for. The rooms were clean and very quiet, and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with locally sourced products. I will give it a 10/10 and definitely will repeat if I go back to Podgorica!!

The location is somewhat remote and only one bus passed there so you have to rely on taxis. But this is alright since taxis cost next to nothing.
Everything was in pristine condition. The place was carefully looked after. The room missed nothing of the comforts. Breakfast was à la carte and hearty and delicious (never tasted such delicious cheese omelette). The owners are fantastic. They treat you like a guest in their home not a client in a hotel and help you in every possible way. Thank you Marco

Very comfortable bed, good food. Very clean and great customer service. Mark is a great guy he helped track down my phone I lost, saved my trip. Highly recommend this place

We liked everything about the property

Location is not very friendly if you don't drive, but there still some shops and restaurant nearby.

Everything was nice
We actually only stayed here overnight directly from the airport. We arrived later than planned (plane delay) but the staff was incredibly friendly,everything was ready for us and in the morning the breakfast was very tasty and a large portion.

Seems a little bit far from the centre of the town if you don't have a car. Otherwise it is very good and a quiet neighborhood
Excellent hospitality!! Bambis hotel is a small family business that makes you feel like you are a part of the family!! The room was very clean and comfortable! The breakfast was good and homemade. A hotel value for money.

If you are going to stay in Podgorica and you have a car, this hotel is a good choice. If you don't have a car, it may be remote. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, but in general, the transportation system is not well-developed in the city/country. You may have to wait for 30-40 mins for a bus. If your aim is to visit Budva, Kotor, Tivat etc. it takes around 1.5-2 hours to get Budva from the main bus station.
Spacious room, very clean, breakfast is available, very helpful owners.

It was just a one night stat but was excellent. Staff was amazing specially Marko who helped us a lot planning day trip. So kind and helpfull staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Really recommended.

The AC does not work but it looks like you can control it. It was a bit stuffy so I opened the windows to cool down the room. Since I had to jump on a call and it was a bit noisy, I closed the windows and turned on the "AC". It took a bit but I realized I had unintentionally pumped warm air in the room. I left the window open for a while to try and cool it back down but there wasn't much airflow and it stayed stuffy.
The room was very spacious and a fantastic price. I had to book last minute and the staff were prepped and very kind. There was a small table in the room for a sitting area, a little vanity, a closet, and 2 beds! The room was great and for a really great price. The staff were really friendly in giving great recommendations for the city, food, and calling a taxi! The bathroom was a good size and very clean and well stocked.
