a few small suggestions—not complaints: • It would be great to have two extra pillows on the bed. There were just two, and while that’s manageable, a couple more would’ve been nice. • Like many Eastern European homes, the washing machine is in the bathroom. Just a heads-up in case you’re not used to that. • The air conditioner is in the living room, not the bedroom. It worked fine for us—we kept the door open and the cool air circulated—but in hotter months, it might get warm in the bedroom if the door’s closed. • The shower gel and shampoo were provided in large bottles. Personally, I’d prefer smaller single-use packs, but again, not a big issue.

We had a great experience staying at this apartment in Kotor. Even though we didn’t meet the host in person, she was always available on WhatsApp and very responsive. She sent clear instructions to find the apartment and also shared tips on getting around the city. During our stay, it was carnival week, and she even gave us the event details along with alternate walking routes to the Old Town—which were genuinely helpful. The apartment was fresh, spotless, and well-equipped. It had a small kitchen, a living room with a TV and air conditioning, and everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. It’s located just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town, with a shortcut that makes it even quicker. The neighborhood felt safe at all times. This is a ground-floor unit of a house—so if you’re expecting scenic views, just know that’s not what this place offers. But honestly, that didn’t bother us. It was quiet, private, and practical. The host also helped us sort out the city tax quickly (on request) and arranged a 5:30 am taxi to the airport, which made our departure stress-free. Important tip for future guests: don’t forget to pay the city tax. It’s €1 per person per night, and you’re legally required to register. If you skip it, you risk getting fined at the border when leaving Montenegro. Either follow the pink instruction sheet in the apartment or ask the host directly. She helped us get it sorted in less than 10 minutes. Overall, I’d absolutely return. It’s a great location, a clean and functional apartment, and a very helpful host. Loved our stay.

Marina and her family were amazing hosts—so kind and thoughtful, providing lots of useful information. The flat is clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to the supermarket and old town. I highly recommend it 100%!

Marina was the host with the most. Her aprtment was just beautiful, comfortable. stylish and with everything provided to make you feel like home. The bed was super comfortable, the view from the cute front porch was beautiful, looking up to the mountains and the old town wall.It is in the most perfect location, just an easy few minute walk to the old town via a back path next the the property, also via the path is the mall with a supermarket. It is also only a few minutes' walk to the waterfront. Marina is just the most beautiful welcoming hospitable host, we arrived late into Kotor, as our bus from Tirana had broken down, and she went above and beyond and insisted on picking us up from the station as the weather was bad. After spending 5 nights at her place, we left feeling like we were family, and have made a dear friend from our time there. When we return one day, I will be staying back at this gem of an apartment. Thank you Marina, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you.

Everything was perfect, stilish property, all kind of amenities to make you feel comfortable (coffee, iron, washing powder, etc, etc, etc). Also Marina is a really nice host, she will make sure you have a nice stay and will help you as much as she can. She also gave us information about what to see around in kotor. .The price seemed a little high to me for what they offered us. It was about 20€ more expensive than the others, although it had almost the same facilities as the other houses I stayed in Kotor, just because its location was closer to old town.

It was a house where we were very satisfied with its location, cleanliness and everything.

Marina our host was super helpful. She came to collect us from the airport when there were no available taxis. The place was very clean, two minutes walk from the shops, bus stop, beach and the old city. Although it’s proximity it is quiet. We loved sitting every morning on the porch and looking at the mountains. Good value too. Will come again.
