How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified review- Availability :) - Helpful staff during breakfast - Parking
The bathroom didn’t look nice at all , quite shady. Expect some unexpected “guests” like insects, including ants. Felt more like a quick in-and-out stop (one-night emergency booking). In my opinion, not worth the pric

Verified reviewWhat a lovely property! We stayed just for one night but the pool and yard for kids to run and play was fabulous. The owner was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

Verified reviewWe needed a place near the Fes airport for a very early flight, and this hotel was our answer. Once we found it, we were surprised by the niceness of the lobby. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. We were nervous about securing a reliable cab at 4:30 in the morning, and they made sure someone was there on time, ready to pick us up. Though we missed the included breakfast because we had to leave so early, they also kindly packed up a few snacks for us to take on the road. The room was shockingly big and the A/C worked well.
This riad was very difficult for us to find, especially at night. Our driver had to call a couple of times to finally find the entrance, and when we arrived, we felt convinced we'd come to the wrong place. If you're self-navigating here, you might want to cross-check directions across multiple platforms to be sure you know the way. The bathroom and floors also could've been cleaner.

Verified reviewOur stay at Villa Agapanthe was unfortunately not what we had hoped for. While the hotel itself is beautifully modern and features a sleek, clean design, it lacks any Moroccan flair or cultural style, which might disappoint travelers looking for a more authentic experience. The first impression upon arrival was not ideal. The outdoor area had a strong smell of manure, which made for a very unpleasant greeting. While this may be related to the surrounding area and not the hotel itself, it set a poor tone for what would turn out to be a challenging stay. The staff, however, were incredibly kind and professional. They did everything within their power to assist us, but unfortunately, the circumstances were beyond their control. The biggest issue was the lack of adequate heating in the rooms. The heater provided was not sufficient for the size of the space, and cold drafts seeped in from outside, forcing us to roll rugs by the doors in an attempt to block the chill. The hotel didn’t have extra space heaters available, which made it difficult to stay warm, especially while traveling with children. The cold conditions took a toll on us, and both my children and I fell ill during our stay. To make matters worse, we experienced a power outage, which left us without electricity for an extended period. Unable to wait for the power to return in such cold conditions, we had no choice but to leave and seek alternative accommodations. Additionally, the location is quite remote. While the area is being developed in preparation for the 2030 World Cup, it currently feels isolated and far from restaurants, attractions, or shops. A taxi is necessary for even the simplest outings, which may be inconvenient for some travelers. It’s clear that this property may be better suited for summer stays, when heating isn’t required, and the modern design can be fully appreciated. However, during the winter, it lacks the warmth and comfort needed for a pleasant stay.
What stood out as particularly disappointing was the strong smell outside the property, which made for an unpleasant welcome. Additionally, the location felt quite isolated, making it inconvenient for travelers who want easy access to restaurants or attractions without relying on taxis. The lack of heating options in the winter was also a major drawback, especially when traveling with young children. These factors combined made the stay far less comfortable than expected.

It was my wedding night with my wife and i ask them to make some room decoration they didn’t even bother, and directly told me if i want to make some flower decoration i had to do it myself while its my wedding. We also woke up the morning a little late rush up with the checkout and missed the breakfast, we ordered some eggs it was the most disgusting think we ever had made with cooking oil and super expansive. Even the coffee was awful.

Verified reviewThe property is really neat, quiet, and comfortable. The only weakness of this place is location, which is also one of its strengths. Because it's slightly further out, it's nice and quiet.

Verified reviewFirst of all; great pool! Because the location is isolated you are in a kind of oasis just outside the city. It is quiet and peaceful with a really friendly staff. The food was good and the building is really nice. Because it is not really big it is kind of private and everyone can be at the pool or terras without hearing each other. And for the kids; they have tortoise.
Breakfast is good, but it everyday almost the same thing, it would help to mix a little. Our room was clean but there was muggy inside the bathroom and there were places like the shower that just needs a really good deep cleaning. Maintenance that is being done on the pool (that is really great also with kids) should be done one the rooms also. Just be aware that the location is far away from everything and you need a car to get there. The route Google Maps shows you is horrible, if you take a left just after the gasstation on the N4, you get there wat easier.
