The advertise/information on the booking shows that the room includes most everything. We were looking for some place with the wash machine. That was a part of the decision. In reality, there is none. We could have looked for some other places … When I asked about this, the stuff said I can give him 5€ for the washing service. However I wash them myself :) I would recommend the property update this to avoid confusion.

The stuff he is very nice and helpful! Whenever we have question he can give you some hint and suggestion. As I saw, he cleans the apartment many times a day :)

No towels or toilet paper was provided. The appartment is on the 4th floor, if you have luggage be mindful that you will carry your bags up 4 levels.

Great location in the heart of the Medina. I booked the appartment, it was spacious with a private kitchen and balcony overlooking a park and the Medina. The staff was very kind and they helped us carry our bags to the 4th floor.

Cash only payment although it listed credit card as payment option. No AC, no fan, but luckily it was breezy. Expect lots of stairs. Water flows out of shower stall.

Great location, spacious apt with separate bedroom. Full private bathroom & kitchenette, private terrace, high floor, no lift. Lovely breezy covered terrace with table/chairs, lovely views in 3 directions. Friendly staff. Secure building.

Staying in the medina is a bit of a challenge because there are always a lot of motorbikes and the noise, and the room was hot. We could leave the window open, but mosquitoes would come in. That said, after the second night I had already gotten used to it and didn’t even use earplugs anymore. Just so you're aware, people in Tangier stay up late, shops stay open until late, and people enjoy spending time outside, so there’s a lot of noise in the area until late at night. ;)

I had a great stay at Tanjalucia. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with local tips. The place is spacious. I stayed in the female dorm and it was comfortable, the bathroom was always clean, and the location is very good. I'm grateful to the staff for waiting for me after my flight was delayed, I arrived almost at 2 a.m. and Jaber was there waiting for me. He is a kind soul! Thank you very much!

For solo female travelers staying in hostels, unfortunately, there's still a strong culture of harassment towards women. I experienced a bit of that during my stay at the hostel. While all the staff were friendly, I would advise women traveling alone to be extra attentions.

Building is six stories high to terrace. Too many steps for elderly person like myself. Ate recommended premium menu item Pescado and was sick with intestinal issues for five days.

Location was particularly good in Medina. Bed was comfortable. It was clean. Shower is good. Hot water and pressure. Staff was helpful particularly Mahdi.

Dirty kitchen. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Dirt or snot on my sheet. The ladder to go up the top bunk is stuck onto the bed with tape so it's dangerous and very inconvenient. Lines for the bathrooms can be quite long. No charger for top bunks!

Great hostel located in the heart of the Medina, fantastic shops, restaurants and vibe all around.... As a solo female traveller, I liked that it was family run , the husband , wife and staff were really helpful, friendly and visible. Everytime I came in there was someone cleaning, mopping and keeping the bathrooms well maintained. They also had a night staff on reception for security. There was a bathroom , kitchen and dining/seating area for each floor, which was really generous, considering we were just a 4 bed female dorm. The room was adequate as far as dorms were concerned, but quite small. Wifi worked really well and there were amazing views from the rooftop terrace. .

No where to lock your bag. There was a lock to the door but the other people didn't use it. Not the biggest room.

The location was perfect just on the edge of the Medina so easy to find. I was able to get hot water for my tea. Hostel nice with a bathroom in each floor a couple of chill rooms and a roof terrace with a fantastic view

Expect some noise until late at night. The stair to the upper bed needs to be fixed as it causes terrible noise every time. No locker to store luggage was a big minus point. Room was very small

I think the management should make sure to update the pillows, towels, etc. as needed. My pillow has a vague but unpleasant smell. And the towel they kindly provided smelled bad when wet.
