The hotel is a bit outdated, they should invest a bit of money just on little things like better WiFi somethimes it worked sometimes no.. and newer blankets and sheets. Also shared shower sometimes was hot sometimes cold.

Reception & cafe / restaurant is closed from 2 - 7pm, the wi-fi is very temperamental, room was cold, as no direct sun (but it was the middle of January!), bed very hard, noisy plumbing (in room 14 - waste from dorm showers & toilet upstairs goes through the room).

Lovely, chilled place, with a great roof terrace, very close to the beach and 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Room was big, clean, with large private bathroom, balcony with sea views, plus wardrobe, desk & chairs and extra blankets & towel.

The Suerte Loca isn't a palace, but has history and character in spades. Great location in the old Spanish town. Professionally run with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent food with a varied menu. Superb value and parking right outside.

We had a room with a fantastic sea view. The family that own the hotel are very friendly and hospitable. They also own the small surf business and gift shop next door. The town itself and beaches are very beatuful.

The lady (a real local!! :D ) who owns the place is really friendly, she’s also an artist and has her own shop for jewellery. She told us about the history of this place and made really good breakfast. There’s a pool table and the sea is so close - you have nearby surf rentals and just walk down the stairs to be at the sea. There’s a wonderful terrace with a lot of plants and a nice rooftop to spend time lying in the sun☀️ it was the perfect place for us!

The old lady at the reception wanted to keep our passport for multiple hours and blamed us for not trusting her with it when we didn't want to. This is not normal in Morocco and has not happened to us anywhere else. In the end she said to keep it for ten minutes and kept it overnight. We only got it back after making a scene. She is a creepy liar who doesn't respect her customers feeling safe and blames them for her bad character.

Suerte Loca is pretty basic - no luxury here - but with character, history, sea views and good value. It is an awesome place.

First hotel in town, located in a lovely colonial building. Nicely decorated with local motives it is full of character. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea - pure magic. Good value for money. Run by a local family that can take you hiking and offer surf lessons. So close to the sea that you sleep with the sound of waves crashing onto the shore

Sulfur smell from the drains. Swamp gas. When we got there, our reservations were not in their system even though we.paid. Booking issues with booking.com. They did accommodate us with a shared room instead of 2 singles, with the difference refunded.

I booked 3 nights in the dorm, it was a mistake. I got no sleep, rock hard bed about half the width of a single bed and people drinking and laughing on the roof terrace until 1 am.After one night I changed to a twin room with another backpacker who shared my issues with the dorm. The 2 nights in the twin room were fine.

It is a great place to meet other travellers. The rooms are OK with a sink and a shared balcony. The place was well maintained with a cafe/restaurant downstairs.

Booked a room with three single beds, arrived to discover this room didn't exist. Restaurant opening times were fictional, only opened when they felt like it. Bathroom was really poor, broken shower head, no hot water in morning, no soap etc, and extremely stingy on the toilet roll meaning we had to buy our own. Fresh towels only on request, but waited over an hour for one, meaning dinner was very late!

It wasn't clean, the beds where dirty and mattresses hard like a stone floor. The form room was a surprise room on the roof with no lockers or cupboards.
