Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing.... It was perfect 👌
Stayed with Saida after a grueling trip over the Tizi n Test. Arrived pretty late due to the road conditions but even still Saida welcomed us with open arms and made us dinner. The house doesn't look like much from the outside but once you go through the front door it feels like a hidden oasis...incredible 😍 This is a really unique place to stay. We were the only guests and it really did feel like you had gone off the beaten track to stay with this lovely welcoming Berber family. If you want to do something different and have a sense of adventure then this is the place for you. It's not by any means a 5 star hotel but it's warm and welcoming and even has air con. We would love to have done the trek to the Berber village but the heat was up on 45c so for 3 Irish men this wasn't for us lol. Thank you Saida for welcoming us into your home and hope you get the visa to travel Europe soon. Best wishes from Gary, Tony and Damo ❤️

IndiaSaida's house is a wonderful addition to any itinerary for those seeking an authentic experience of life on a Berber farm. As someone who lives in the city, I found it refreshing and fun to stay in a place surrounded by animals and beautiful herb and vegetable gardens. We also went on a scenic hike to a nearby Berber village, guided by Saida's brother Hamid, the route was stunning and truly memorable. We absolutely loved the meals arranged for us. Saida was incredibly kind and even prepared my favorite Moroccan breakfast dishes upon request.

United KingdomThe rooms get very hot in summer!
Saida runs an excellent guesthouse. She was incredibly helpful, providing us with a packed lunch and making sure we had somewhere safe to store our bikes. The rooms are basic but have comfortable beds and a really good shower. The staff were exceptional - the best we experienced in Morocco. The setting is beautiful and the house itself is really interesting.

AustraliaFirst impressions when we arrived were a bit daunting. However, when we were met from beautiful Saida, and stepping into her beautiful home, it really was a WOW moment. Home away from home. Saida and her beautiful family were so hospitable, caring, and gentle people. The food was just amazing. The guided tour from Saida's brother was also very good. Saida, you are such an amazing, talented, and passionate person. I wish you all the very best in your journey. Thank you very much

United KingdomNothing to dislike.
This is a very unique establishment. I spent 4 nights in such a tranquil setting, waking up to cockerels, donkeys braying, goats bleating and just simply observing the Berber way of life. The meals served were really tasty and authentic berber cuisine. Watching the women collecting mint leaves from the surrounding countryside, the goatherds gathering their flock from the rocky pastures and bringing them back into the village, the ladies baking the flat breads over open fires and so much more. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the chaos of Marrakech to take the bus to Amizmiz, where Saida will arrange for her driver to collect you and bring you to her village. Lunch and dinner is €20 per day plus the cost of her driver both ways. It's a haven of tranquility with some lovely walks flanked by acres of oleander bushes. Take a good book and walking shoes. You'll love it!

This is a truly special place! Saida is an extraordinary person with a beautiful story worth discovering. There’s a wonderful atmosphere of a traditional farm, outstanding food, and a great selection of workshops and additional activities. We felt warmly welcomed and completely relaxed – the vibe is homely and laid-back. Beautiful decorations, rugs, and the unique charm of this place make it one of a kind. This is a place you simply can’t miss!

NorwayI didn’t completely know when things would happen, but everything happened that we booked and it was lovely
Saida was a very good host and we had amazing food! We did a trip to the ceramics village which was so beautiful, but the most beautiful part was the hike. All the food is fresh from the garden and we did a lovely cooking class. The breakfast was truly amazing!! Would recommend going as a couple or family. It is a bit difficult to get to, so it was very good that we could book transport with them.

United StatesSaida's passion for sharing her culture and the pride she takes in uplifting her community is truly one of a kind. I stayed 4 nights with Saida and her family and it was a memorable experience I'll be talking about for a long time. While hearing Saida's stories was the highlight of the stay, I also did a few of her curated activities including a hike to a centuries-old Berber village, an incredible afternoon making a rug with a few local women, and a visit to the poterie where all the children from the village kept us company. All amazing. What Saida has created is nothing short of inspiring and impressive, which you'll understand after your visit. Highly recommend making the trip, the views alone make it worth it.

SwedenI read on instagram that the animals (cats, donkeys, dogs and chickens) were treated well here but upon arriving I could not agree to that. Yes the chickens were well taken care of. The cats were shy but being tolerated and fed. The donkeys however, were also taken care of in means of food but the were crept in there places by ropes on their legs which caused nasty sores. If only they build a nice fence they can stay in the stable without ropes. The worst of were the dogs. They are seen as disease spreaders, and impure and are not allowed in houses or carpets. This is widely spread throughout Islamic countries, but when I see the miserable conditions they live in near a guesthouse where tourists come then I hope that tourist can bring a change to this traditional mistreatment of dogs. In this case they were chained with iron thread around the neck or a really tight chain, strangling them if they moved. One had puppies that roamed around freely scrounging around for food and she couldn’t reach them to protect them or care for them as she liked. The strangling threads made sores around their necks. And all of them really hungry. The hostess explained that this is the traditional way there and not like in our western culture. They are seen as possible rabies spreaders and they believe that you would get rabies by only touching their fur… like I said I know it is hard to change believes and traditions, but I have also seen that tourists (and the money they bring) can make changes. Slowly
I liked the lunch and the hospitality and I liked the trip by car with a knowledgeable local guide to the Berber villages that was arranged by the host Saida. And I liked how she campaigned for Berber women and tries to inspire them to start businesses and make some money.

PhilippinesNothing!
Meeting Saida was the highlight of our stay ~ the place is of course enchanting, but the warm hospitality, delicious food and stories from this incredible woman Saida was the highlight, not just of our stay, but of our entire trip in Morocco. Imagine waking up in the mountains, walking down through grape vines and fig trees to find a cozy spot amongst the wild nature to start your day, with the best homemade tea and lovingly prepared breakfast… then the day can be spent enjoying the surroundings, or immersing into a cooking class which was such a fun experience. It was the best tajine I ever tried. I can’t say enough good things about this place ~ a unique, traditional and beautiful experience. You must go there for yourself!
