Nice room is a nice riad. The location is in a small alley just next to the main road. It’s easy to find and safe to walk alone to.

There was no shower door or shower curtain so the whole bathroom will be wet taking a shower, also the water doesn’t run away fast enough.

The location is super good, the room was clean, and the person in the welcome was so nice.

Outside the room wasn't clean, the person present the second day wasn't professional, the breakfast is so bad especially in a riad they can offer something traditional.

The location is great, you will reach the main road in less than 1 minutes. It is easy to recognize as well. The area is quiet with a lovely rooftop terrace.

Our room was not ready at 5pm… the main manager was not there and none of the staffs speaks English, only French and Arabic. For us it is a struggle trying to understand what is going on when things are not working. Maybe you can create a check-in notice sheets in English for the foreign guess to read and follow.

The location and grandeur of the interior but above all the friendliness and helpfulness of the boss, Abdlali, and Mimoun

    No complaints!

This spacious 15th century Ryad is full of charm and tastefully decorated by the retired Spanish professor owner, Abdlali. It’s near the entrance to the large and vibrant medina, but tucked away and peaceful. From the narrow front passage entrance you would not guess how large and amazing the inside is. We loved the antiques, especially the collection of painted window shutters and the ancient front doors. There is a large central floor to roof communal area for breakfast, mint tea and meeting the other guests. It’s designed to stay cool even as the heat outside builds. There are also roof terraces, nice for breakfast or sunset. There are 5 rooms for a range of budgets, we stayed 2 nights in the smallest room and liked being here so much we stayed a further 3 nights in the large romantic suite. The included breakfast was good too, with coffee, orange juice, msememm (Moroccan pancakes) and baguette. We were particularly impressed by the hospitality and enthusiasm of Mimoun, a young man from the Meknes region who took real pleasure from helping to make our stay enjoyable. We spoke a lot in French and English and I learnt to pronounce some Moroccan Arabic (Darija) phrases while he learnt some English ones. We will miss him but stay in contact and aim to return.

    Nothing!
