Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNot really anything bad to mention.
Riad Jabador was a really good find. The host was superb and very helpful, plus the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. You cannot get to the riad door by car but you can park on the main road which is close. If you are on a motorbike like us you can fit it inside the riad :).

United KingdomThe room was very hot with no fans or air conditioning. We understand having air conditioning in such a traditional old property is difficult, but a fan would have made a huge difference in terms of comfort in mid-August! Sadly the noise on our first night kept us all awake as there was a music festival near-by. The second night we hoped to sleep better as the festival had finished. However, we heard loud motorbikes and shouting and people talking outside our window until about 5am! So none of us were able to sleep and we are all a bit tired today and looking forward to catching up on sleep in our next apartment! There are lots of services and facilities advertised on booking.com for this property which just simply don't exist. I think maybe it's a translation problem or something but please be mindful when booking that this is a BASIC place to stay with no mod cons, no manned reception, no extras.. It is very expensive for what you get. (I'm sure it was lovely a few years ago). The shower attached to our family room was running hot and cold and it was not really possible to find a good temperature! It needs an update sadly! The room was spacious and looked beautiful but there was a smell of faeces by the door to the room, so we just avoided that area. There was some confusion at the end of our stay when we were charged for the free airport shuttle that had been provided on our arrival. I guess the free shuttle wasn't free :) Perhaps it was my error. Anyway, this facility is no longer available on booking.com, so it will probably not impact anyone else. Anyway, its easy and cheap just to get a regular taxi from the airport if you need it.
This is an absolutely beautiful, 300 year old Riad. The wood and tiles and decor were incredible. We loved the Riad! The owner and his family were so so lovely and attentive and really made us feel welcome! My sons enjoyed talking to the owner's little grandchildren who were so adorable!! Sale is very quirky and everyone we met was really nice. This apartment was a short walk and tram ride away from Rabat! My children enjoyed the breakfast which was mainly pancakes and thin crumpets!! And I loved the coffee and orange juice :) delicious. There was a fridge in the room which was great to store bottled water. There were plenty of plug sockets in the room to use, which was great! We had a great stay, thank you!

United KingdomCan be noisy....dog barking nearby at night etc. Would hear other people if noisy or coming in late etc. I was the only one there....which I loved. No yoga mats on rooftop.....suggestion given for improvement. No front desk....but I didn't have a problem, as you see the owners at breakfast. You could email them too. Suggestion....provide bottled water in room for arrival. Option for fruit platter etc? Salè shops mostly take cash only....come prepared. Cats, cats, cats (not in the riad). The odd dead one in the street. Live chickens butchered to order in the medina.
The location is great. Near to airport. 15 min walk to beach to swim. 20 min walk to Salè train station. 2 min walk to bank to change money. I stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed a slow pace of life. I want to come back, with friends....or without. They have 4 rooms only. Two with a double bed, two that sleep 4 people. My room was enormous. I loved doing yoga on the rooftop, with ocean views. WiFi worked perfectly. Decor superb. Not new, or fancy, but delightful. Owners could not do more to make me feel welcome. Room has no outside windows...fewer flies and mosquitos. Rooftop a nice space to use. People in the town all very friendly. I felt safe as a single female visitor.

The house and the room was very spacious and really nicely decorated, excellent breakfast served in the atrium. the hosts were very kind and attentive. If you're looking for a place in Rabat this is a bit too far however we loved the family atmosphere here and a peaceful location in Sale. we had our car so it was easy otherwise you can take a boat/tram (15-20 min walk from the riad)

SwitzerlandThe entrance to the bathroom was through 2 'high' stairs, which were difficult to navigate. There was no heating in the room and no heaters. Thankfully, it was a warmish evening.
Very colourful, and very decorative. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, freshly prepared and served with love, nice big room, comfortable bed with an electrical (under) blanket. The house was easy to locate, in a small but very clean street. It was raining when we left and the host was kind enough to walk outside to give us instructions to go to the airport.

GermanyTaxis had some difficulties to find it. There was a bit of a musty smell in the room, as there are no windows to the outside, only into the courtyard.
A beautiful spot with very gentle and friendly people. They gave useful tips to get around. Nice breakfast, served for you at your own table in front of the room. I would recommend everyone who would like to have an authentic experience to come here.

MalaysiaWe prefer the room's floor to be off shoes especially when it has carpets on. Cleanliness of the room's floor could be improved.
It is an old Riad with beautiful carvings, own personality and most importantly warm bed in winter. The place itself is in quiet neighborhood so you will have a good rest at night. Breakfast is scrumptious and the host is very friendly and helpful. 2 nights stay would be good! We stayed only for a night.
