Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThe location is not the best
It really value the money, Salhim was super nice with us, we couldn’t find the place and he call me and come to pick up us, as it was during the night and we were lost. Also he prepare a special breakfast for us gluten free and early in the morning because we have to leave.

CroatiaThis is a very nice riad, on a great location. It is very private and it offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool is small but more than enough for a quick refreshment in the afternoon or in the evening, the rooms are very nice and clean and the atmosphere is just magical. Air conditioning works great, the terrace is very comfortable to relax in the evening. Breakfast each morning is also nice with freshly squeezed orange juice, and we even got coffee and cacao for the kids. The location is safe and peaceful, close to the city gates and near Jardin Majorelle, but also close on the other side to the main square in Medina. Our pick up locations for the desert trip and cooking class were all just a few minutes away from this riad. There is a supermarket just around the corner and the hosts were very pleasant and helpful. If we went back to Marrakech we would most definitely stay at this riad. It has the most magical appeal - it is in the neighbourhood that people live in, it is not just for tourists, so you can see kids playing football in the streets and there is a market with vegetables, fruit, spices and meat very near by, it is very lovely.

ItalyA peaceful gem in Marrakech – highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Riad Zen House. The place is beautiful and full of charm, with a spectacular courtyard that feels like an oasis and a lovely rooftop terrace perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The team is absolutely fantastic — incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with any request. They really made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which changed daily and featured freshly baked local products — a perfect start to the day. The riad is spotlessly clean, peaceful, and has a truly calming atmosphere. The location is a bit tucked away, which actually makes it even more relaxing, and it’s still very convenient to explore other parts of Marrakech, whether by foot or short taxi ride. All in all, a perfect blend of authenticity, comfort, and warm hospitality. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Marrakech!

SlovakiaThe Riad is placed in a quiet area , close enough to the souk Medina, Jardin de Majorelle and parking Bab Yacout, Interiors are cozy and relaxing and the rooftop with sun-chairs is a plus.. I liked the staff attitude to help us with suggestions and services , they really pampered us during our staying. In addition they prepared for us a fantastic Moroccan dinner: at the end of 2 weeks spent in Morocco, the best tajine dinner i had.

Czech Republicsmaller breakfast, the door to the room was making noise since they were moving (not a usual key lock), noise from the street (which is not that busy) - in general were these marginal problems
A beautiful riad a bit further from the tourist attractions, but overall a good location. We spent only one night but the experience was great. There is a beautiful terrace on the roof, the rooms are equipped well and the staff was always helpful.

SpainIt disappointed us as a Riad, located in a popular neighborhood, and with limited room space. Bad wifi coverage in our room complicated our daily planning. Cats meowing every night.
The location was at a walking distance from the main attractions inside and outside the medina. The staff was attentive and made a great job. Generous breakfast in a calm atmosphere.

United KingdomNothing at all ! Bell needs a clean in entering the property if I had to say anything ! Oh and getting lost but that’s part of the adventure 🤪
This hidden oasis of calm is the perfect place to see inside the Medina of Marrakech. Be prepared for utter chaos outside of the door the Riads are a maze of high walled buildings with cats motorbikes demolished buildings & people of Marrakech living their lives but don’t be intimidated by all of this behind the door of Riad Zen ( beautiful ) house is truly that ! Beautiful peaceful calm. The architecture& rooms are amazing birds coming into the open roof ( photos) a paradise from the craziness of the city ! Souks, motorbikes etc . Embrace it all as this is wonderful Marrakesh ! The room was cleaned everyday ! Clean towels & bedding, breakfast was beautiful each morning fresh coffee & Orange juice pastries etc. Nothing was too much trouble. On our last day had a full body massage which was bliss 😊 not a large pool but big enough to cool off and a beautiful roof top terrace to relaxing on. Utterly adored this place even though we did get lost a few times , don’t be intimidated by what you read this place is the friendliest most welcoming city I have visited & I travel a lot 😃

SwedenIt would be nice to be able to pay by card. But the manager had no problem waiting for us to get cash and was very flexible. So it is not even a remark, only something that possibly could be added.
Amazing staff, more than an amazing breakfast and a very clean place (including the kitchen). I highly recommend it!

United KingdomOn the last day, other guests having an early breakfast were loud and woke us up (it would have been helpful for the staff to ask them be keep their voices down with an early breakfast)
Enormous breakfast and flexibility around when it was served. Generally it was between 9 - 10am but we had it at 7:30am one time, and 7:00am another time because we had booked excursions.

PortugalRiad location is in a popular zone and no cars go or park there. You have to walk a little bit to take some transportation. This is important specially if you want to do tours and they will pick you up there. Streets are narrow and a little dark. Swimming pool is very tiny.
Nice breakfast and very good room. All employees are very nice and Mustafá and Suad are excellent. Family atmosphere. Benefit/Cost relation is positive.

SpainThere was maybe a little noise in the room when other people were using the courtyard (because our room was at the ground level), but it never happened at night so it wasn't a problem for us, they seemed very mindful of this.
The staff was amazing, very attentive, kind and helpful in everything. The room overlooked a courtyard which kept everything nice and cool, and it was beautiful. Everything had a very traditional feel to it but with all the facilities. Although it was necessary to ring the bell to get in, this ensured the security of the hotel and they had no problem with what time we returned. Also, the breakfast was delicious, varied a little every day and they also catered to your needs (e.g. once I was not feeling like coffee and asked for a mint tea and there was no problem) If I go back to Morocco I will definitely choose this hotel again!
