Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Netherlands-
It is a super nice Riad. It is spotlessly clean, quiet and the staff is very helpful. It is located in the medina and location is close to Jemaa el-Fnaa by walking or you can easily find a taxi. The breakfast is also attentive and satisfying.

NetherlandsStayed here for 2 nights. We had a very good experience. The host was so kind, we have never experienced such good service in a hotel. When we arrived she offered us tea, we immediately felt welcome. The riad is new and so beautiful. The beds were comfortable, we slept very good. We really enjoyed the Moroccan breakfast every morning. The riad has a rooftop where you can sunbathe or relax. Good location, close to the medina. We would love to come back sometime!

United KingdomNothing! It was all amazing!
Wow! This riad was a gorgeously decorated, comfortable, immaculate, clean, elegant and just amazing! The service throughout our stay was so attentive and welcoming. We were initially greeted with biscuits and mint tea which set the good standards right away. This place is newly opened and they are doing amazing. The breakfast was all fresh and tasted delicious - we loved it! The location is at the start of the medina and only a 15 minute walk to the main square. We found that all the gardens and places to explore were very close by and accessible through the souk streets. There were loving terraces, cafes and restaurants that served great food - we found a little place that sold street food close by for less than £2.50 each and it was incredible!

Spain-
It is a brand new riad, a beatiful building and very clean. The terrace is amazing, we had breakfast there during sunny days, and we even spent some afternoons up there resting after long walks. More importantly, the staff were the nicest, very welcoming, respectful, and helpful. When we arrived they were waiting for us so we could easily find the riad, they welcomed us with tea and biscuits, they helped with our luggage, and they were always available for our needs. Definitely recommending it :)

RomaniaRiad Valentine: A Solo Adventurer’s Oasis in Marrakech Let’s cut to the chase—Marrakech is a wild, intoxicating maze of sights, sounds, and smells, and if you’re a solo traveler, you need a refuge. Riad Valentine? It’s not just a refuge; it’s a damn good one. First Impressions: The Calm After the Storm You step off the chaotic streets of the Medina, heart still racing from dodging motorbikes and persuasive shopkeepers, and suddenly—silence. Cool air. The scent of mint tea. This riad is your reset button. Rooms: A Slice of Moroccan Heaven Forget cookie-cutter hotel rooms. Here, each space hums with traditional Moroccan charm—intricate tilework, soft lantern lighting, and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream from 1001 Nights. Bonus? Private balconies. You, a cup of Moroccan coffee, and the hum of the city below—it’s a moment you won’t forget. Service: Omar, You’re a Legend Here’s where things get special. Omar isn’t just staff—he’s your guy. Need the best spot for street food? He’s got you. Want a guide who won’t scam you? Done. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by Marrakech’s beautiful madness? He’ll sit you down with a tea and tell you stories until you’re ready to dive back in. Food: A Feast Fit for a Nomad The breakfast? Generous. Fresh pastries, fruit, and a Moroccan spread that fuels you for hours of wandering. And if you stick around for dinner, expect home-cooked dishes that will ruin all future tagines for you. Final Verdict: Stay Here. No Regrets. If you’re the kind of traveler who craves adventure but also appreciates a warm, welcoming basecamp, Riad Valentine is your place. It’s authentic, personal, and just the right amount of luxury without losing its soul. And Omar? You’ll leave feeling like you have a friend in Marrakech. So go ahead, book it. And tell Omar I sent you.
