Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyAziz and Abdel and the whole staff are very nice and friendly. They do everything to make you feel at home and like to help always! The breakfast was more than enough and very good. Also the rooms had an AC and were really comfortable.

United KingdomThe lack of soundproofing and the guests who were screaming... Please, respect each other! Maybe get some handwash liquid, instead of the soap. The bathroom was cold.
That was my second time in Marrakech. The first time, I had a really bad experience with a Riad, but I’m so happy I gave this one a chance. When I arrived, the staff welcomed me with a large teapot and some biscuits. They helped me with my bag, printed out my bus tickets, always asked about my day, and were incredibly friendly. I’d like to say a special thank you to Abderrahim (I hope you get to take your dream trip to Switzerland!), Aicha, and the other gentleman who checked me in. You really made my stay great! Thank you! I also loved how much they care about cats—I even had breakfast with one of them! By the way, the breakfast was huge. The only thing I missed was the local peanut butter. I lovdd the room with the lantern lamp and the lot of extra blankets (more than in the pic) ! They can be handy due the typical hard Moroccan bed and the coldness of Riad. But ofc, Ac could warm up the room. Every rooms door got a name after different part of Morocco. That is a really nice gesture.

United KingdomDouble bed was 2 single beds together so less comfortable for a couple and you need to notify them if you want dinner in the morning so they can prepare in advance which makes sense but less convenient if plans change during the day
A wonderfully authentic and comfortable stay. The staff are extremely friendly and the Riad itself is great. Good facilities for a small place (hamam, spa and pool). The interior looks very nice and breakfast was was great. It's close enough to walk to anything in the centre. Would definitely stay here again

United KingdomDon’t like the fact there was a slide lock on the outside of the door but I appreciate that’s the style there.
The riad had a lot of character and interesting decor. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, Abdul was very helpful and did a fantastic job making us feel welcome as well as all the other wonderful staff. Also the food was amazing with very generous portion sizes.

CanadaYou have to carry your bags about 5-8 minutes to arrive at the riad and there isn’t enough signage to find the place—I had to ask 2 people nearby. The rooms are not very sound proof but lovely nonetheless.
Staff were great! Room was very comfortable.

AustraliaLike many riads, the entry was down a passageway with construction, so a little awkward with wheelie bags but just something to be aware of, not a major issue
Super friendly staff, went out of their way to make our late arrival comfortable, including holding dinner for us. Comfortable stay with beautiful decor. Great location and friendly kitten to play with!

PortugalOur stay at Sidi Mimoune Riad was an absolute delight, and it was the exceptional staff that truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to ensure that we felt welcomed and well cared for. Aicha was incredibly kind, offering helpful advice on things to do around Marrakesh, while Abu was always attentive, ensuring that our needs were met with a smile. Mamoud’s warmth and cheerful personality made every interaction feel like we were truly guests in their home. We had requested a quiet room, and the team thoughtfully arranged for us to stay in a spacious, peaceful room. It was the perfect escape after a day exploring the vibrant city. The Riad itself is beautifully designed with traditional Moroccan touches, creating a tranquil oasis in the heart of Marrakesh. The location couldn’t be better: just a short 15-20 minute walk to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa and other key attractions, yet far enough to avoid the noise and crowds, allowing for a peaceful retreat. We also had dinner at the Riad, and it was absolutely delicious. The couscous with chicken and vegetables was perfectly cooked and offered a generous portion, ideal for two. One of the standout features of Sidi Mimoune Riad is its perfect balance of cost and value. The level of comfort, service, and attention to detail we experienced felt far beyond what we expected for the price. It's truly excellent value for money — especially considering the location, the beauty of the Riad, and the remarkable staff. From the warm welcome with Moroccan tea and faqqas to the thoughtful service throughout our stay, everything about our time at Sidi Mimoune was exceptional. We can’t recommend this Riad enough. Five stars all the way!

Great selection of breakfast. Generous portion. Amenities are wonderful. Comfy bed. Clean and fresh towels every day. Pool was nice size enough to swim and not just paddle. Hammam and massage offered were great bonus to have in the Riad. The lady who did our hammam was very professional.

AustraliaThe triple room was a little squashy compared to the two bedrooms. But otherwise it was excellent.
The staff went above and beyond to help us with bookings, printing tickets, giving us early breakfasts etc. Love that we were squeezed in to enjoy a hammam and massage. Definately a must when in Morocco. We felt nurtured and relaxed which is nice after adventures out and about.
