Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CroatiaLooks like shower drain is little bit clogged and you can smell the sewage in bathroom. And of all places we been in Morocco this one had least good breakfast.
Overall Riad was nice, great terrace, good value for money, clean and lovely stuff. Also good location and easy to find.

MoroccoThe breakfast was a bit basic. We would have preferred if it included olive oil and pure butter and not margarine. The 'harcha' was great though.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were nice and accomodating. The riad is easy to locate and all the sights are easily accessible.

United KingdomThe lighting in our room was a little dark but that’s only a small thing. Breakfast was filling but not the best we’ve had (no eggs in this one) but still started our day well and nice coffee too.
Lovely Riad, and our room was decorated nicely with a lovely tiled bathroom. Zak helped us with navigating Fes and booked the most incredible tour to the desert that was so magical! (The whole trip included a handy transfer to Marrakesh after which I highly recommend). Lovely rooftop for a quiet evening and pretty easy to navigate into the medina from the property. Close to some nice restaurants and ATMs as well. Thanks!

United KingdomThe bed is a little hard, but we still slept OK. I think the hard beds are normal in morocco.
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location is in the medina but away from the serious hustle and bustle. The riad is old but decorated nice. The breakfast was very filling and tasty.

RomaniaThe breakfast is made out of things bought out of a supermarket, and only one tee or one coffee is included, and depending on who is doing the coffee it will differ in quality. The bathroom drainage for the 3 person room should have a check as the watter is not draining.
This is an old building transformed in a Riad. Many told me this is not the best place in Fez to stay as the people in that part of the town are not to be trusted. Maybe is true, but we avoided to stay out in small groups around the riad. The place itself is wonderful, the staff was more than helpfully, rooms clean and quiet. Hot water at any hour, working air conditioning. Saaf is great to talk to with great knowledge of the meddina and always there when needed.

IndiaFor accessing the Riad which is located in an alley one has to at least temporarily park on the motorable street near certainF food joints. The staff of the joints hassle you soon as you stop. then ask for parking charges. The Riad has a one man staff who is the receptionist, cook, server. They did NOT provide any electric kettle in the room. WIFI was extremely poor. The one man staff keeps a sullen non friendly attitude. Not at all helpful or to address the issues. when I came for the breakfast which was inclusive in the rate, no one was to to be found. Finaally managed to wake up someone sleeping on a couch behind a curtain, who when enquired said the designated staff needs to be found. He did manage to find him and the person did manage to produce a breakfast in a jiffy. Mind you all this happening at 8:45 and we were getting late for paid guided walking tour. Turned out we did have to spend an additional night at Fes but decided to move to a different accomodation even f inconvenienly. Plus there is an all pervasive foul smell all the time but probably that was due to the "old and famous" fes Tanneries.
The location was okay. A public parking is available at reasonable rates in a walking distance

AustraliaThere was a staff member who made us feel really uncomfortable. We don't mind trying to get us to book tours through them but when we said we have booked a free walking tour (like we do in every city we visit) the staff member was telling us how terrible they are (it wasn't) and how we should book through him. He seemed high most of the time which was odd.
This is a hard one for us to review. The room is great, it is spacious and very clean, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The place is lovely but had a strange feeling as we think we were the only ones here. We didn't see anyone else the whole time, even the staff were barely around.

United StatesShower didn't drain well. Hot water was inconsistent. Hot water came back when I mentioned the problem to the owner.
The staff were very friendly and even went above and beyond to pick up items in the Medina and CTM bus station for me. The terrace and main room were full of plants and very pleasant to hang out in. The location just inside the Medina is convenient as you don't need to haul bags far from the road. If any issues come up, the staff quickly handles them. The room was large and comfortable for the price. Good people and place to chill on the terrace with a good view.
