How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My stay at Riad Salam was wonderful. The place is very clean, well-maintained, and has a pleasant atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

The hotel can prove difficult to find as there are two locations matching the address, about 4km apart from each other.
A nice hotel which is great for a short stay. Centrally located close to Agadir's famous souk means that walking around the immediate area is easy, though driving can be more challenging. Great staff, adequate room and good overall experience

The walls were thin so I could hear my neighbours moving around and even putting items into their wardrobe! People arriving and talking in the hallways and reception at different times of night, and even the night desk person sneezing loudly. Chairs scraping on the floor above. Acoustics were awful, but I was too tired after travelling all day to request another room and I'm not sure it would have made much difference anyway. I knew I'd have a long day of travel the next day, too, hence asking for a quiet room. The view of the car park with wild dogs roaming was authentically Moroccan, I didn't actually mind it. Not the best value hotel I've stayed in.
The location was good for my bus journey early the next day - I could walk to the bus stop in 30 mins. The interior decor throughout the hotel is pleasant, and so are the staff. The room was clean and the bathroom too, had all you need, including a fridge.

Eloquent and helpful front desk, the staff I met take their job seriously and are helpful and attentive, a private parking, breakfast options in-house. The room is basic but the air conditioning works and the bed is clean. I think the value for money is superb.

The toilet did not flush.
Comfy bed and spacious suit. Good value for money, we only stayed the night to catch our flight from Agadir. The guy at the reception was really friendly and helped us fix an airport shuttle for a good price!

Good location especially if coming from the bus station, was a 25 minute walk. Also very close to souk and could get a taxi easily to the beach for 10dh. As a female solo travelling i felt safe at this location

washroom gets wetty whenever you take shower as just separated by curtain.
Nice location just next to Biggest Market(Souk). All destinations are closer to it.

There was a big lot behind the hotel that was used by taxis. This could be a get a bit loud at night, also with the barking dogs.
They upgraded our basic room to a suite, which was a nice surprise and had a lot of additional space. We were in Agadir for only a night so the hotel was a good place to stay as it was easy to get to the bus station (CTM) since a lot of taxis are around the Souk. It's around a 30-minute walk to the water.

Old (but working) facilities in a toilet
It's really close to old market, but a bit far from the ocean. Amazing wooden elements everywhere. And I even have a tiny balcony and a hair dryer

The shower wasn't draining at all. We took shower in the evening and in the morning it was still full of water like swimming pool.
The hotel is about 20 minutes from bus station as well as from seaside. For the money I paid it was quite good. You can have breakfast from 7am in the cafe next door for about 35-45 MAD.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Brahim , he's a good man... feeds a couple of stray cats that are around the back of the building. A Good heart. . I've stayed there twice . Easy transfer from the Airport. Good rooms , clean , quiet . A/C works very well . Very good value for money.
