Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GreeceSome small renovation going on in the terrace during my visit, but you can still totally enjoy it!
The best riad I stayed at in all of Morocco!! Absolutely gorgeous room on the second floor! Very big and spacious, extremely high cealing, very bright with natural light because it has windows in both sides and you have views of the souk and of the inside courtyard. If you need shade you can close the curtains. Beautiful traditional decoration with purple velvet fabric and colourfull tiles on the walls and bathroom. The pictures don't do it justice, it's even more beautiful in reality!! Huge and comfortable bed, a/c working great, big bathroom, clean too. I was surprised that there was a hair dryer with a part for curly hair! Tasty breakfast with local recipes. Nice rooftop with views of Fez, I even got to see a red moon rise over the rooftops, fascinating! Great staff also, Salma and Amine where very polite and friendly and always present to assist you. Very good location, inside the Medina and close to the Blue Gate and to the parking and the taxis. Very convenient for shopping (I noticed that the shops near the riad have lower prices) , for enjoying the souks and markets or visiting the sights.

CanadaA few things to note. The floors in the room were very dirty, to the point that we had to wear shoes in the room, which made the floors even more dirty. My partner only had sneakers, not slip ons, so this was a little annoying. The floors are old mosaic tiles, so maybe difficult to clean, but they could certainly use a sweep/vacuum/mop. The wifi was a little slow/spotty at times. There is a mosque right next door, so we were woken up every morning around 4am for the call to prayer. There are mosques all over the Medina though, so this could be the same everywhere.
The staff at this Riad were all lovely. It was very well located, a 12 minute walk to the Blue Gate. The breakfasts and dinners (extra cost but well worth it!) were excellent. We were able to get some laundry done as well, which was very helpful. The bathroom was the biggest and best we had in all of Morocco!

United Kingdom- Beautiful building, well located - rooms are not as new as photos make it look; slightly worn/tired - Poor internet beyond main courtyard - Standard wheat based breakfast. Could do with some fruit - room 5, a large part of one wall was the large door which didn’t fit well, leaving large gaps. Didn’t feel very private - bed was firm with polyester sheets, which meant lots of static sparks - bathroom, toilet flush was broken, shower was good

ItalyI had a wonderful stay at this Riad in Fes. From the moment we arrived, Ali at the reception made us feel so welcome and taken care of. He, along with everyone else we met during our stay, was incredibly kind and attentive. The Riad itself was impeccably clean, and the staff was always ready to cater to any request we had, making sure we were comfortable at all times. One of the highlights was the stunning rooftop terrace, where we could relax and enjoy the views. The food was absolutely delicious. We dined there twice, trying different dishes each time, and I can honestly say it was the best meal we had during our stay in Fes (and we ate at several other places!). The flavors were incredible and the hospitality was top-notch. We also booked a guide to explore the old city of Fes, which was fantastic. However, we were a little disappointed with the guide for the area outside the city. Despite this, the Riad itself was simply amazing, with wonderful people and great food. Highly recommend it!

BelgiumPerhaps breakfasts were a bit basic - but if you ask, they will arrange extras for you. Simply ask.
The rijad is located in the center of medina, very close to all touristy sites of Fes. You will find (small) shops and restaurants right at the front door. The rooms are comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the location (please notice that we stayed there during ramadam). The rooftop terrace is really nice. There are some discomforts typical for old town buildings, like doors that close heavily or a slight "old" smell but compared to similar places in other cities it is really nothing disturbing. The water pressure is excellent - showers are great and water is nice and hot. It is also a very clean place, well taken care of. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. There is nothing they cannot arrange for you. Make sure to use the recommended hammam. Also, they can book taxis and trips for you at a decent price. If you like rooms flooded with light, make sure to book top rooms. I can honestly recommend this place, it is better than on the pictures and you really get a good feeling there.

SloveniaA beautifully decorated riad in a peaceful part of the Medina. The breakfast was delicious and served on a lovely terrace. Additionally, Salma was very helpful in arranging things we couldn’t organize online or on our own. We highly recommend this riad and its staff for a short stay in Fes.

United KingdomThe beds are hard but they put a duvet folded under one side for my wife who needs a very soft bed. Would have liked some sun beds on the terrace, otherwise everything was good.
Large comfortable delux room with table and chairs. Quiet at night and nice sun terrace. Location excellent in the heart of the medina. Staff were great, meeting our driver to take us to the Riad and escorting us with our case when we left. Also took me to the cash machine and helped get initial bearings. Breakfast was nice and provided me with early coffee when I went early to the lounge while my wife slept. The dinner at the riad is highly recommended. We had dinner in the terrace one night. The terrace was nice and had comfortable sofas but lacked sun beds. Added photo of sunrise on the terrace. Our delux room had three windows opening into the atrium made the room airy. There were three narrow windows to the outside with two sets of windows to block noise.

RomaniaAs we traveled in January, nights got quite cold in Fes; the room had no heating source but the AC, which was quite slow to heat the entire room.
The location was right in the middle of the old town on a main street, so it helped us to navigate the labyrinthic Medina to the main attractions and the souks. The staff was super helpful and gave us all the information we needed.

GermanyWe booked two rooms and one of them was rather dark with only one small window (facing the hallway, not practical to leave open for airing during the night). However, we informed the staff and were allowed to change without extra charge asap.
All staff were super friendly and happy to help with any questions and our organisation on site. We felt welcomed. The roof terrace offers a great view, you can relax, enjoy breakfast and dinner outside. Our food was delicious and authentic; we stayed one week and almost ate there every evening.

AustraliaNothing. For those with mobility issues, the last set of steps going up to the rooftop may be a bit tricky.
The location was in the medina. It was quite easy to find from the blue gate. Samir was very helpful and kind. He helped us get the best tour price and was able to give us a beer and wine on the rooftop. He was around in the evenings and mornings and nothing was too much trouble. Food was plentiful. We were able to get some laundry done as well. The rooms were fairly soundproof and the bed was comfortable. We had no trouble sleeping.
