There no hot water despite informing them they say run the tap but still no hot water, the amount of stairs no elevator. The location is not the best cause no tour company pick and drop off at the riad u have to walk a few blocks down

The staff is very helpful navigating through the Medina. The breakfast is good home made. Salah is very sweet and his colleague we were greeted well. It’s very beautiful

Not having front gate key can be an issue when going out of riad and coming back late at night. Good idea to coordinate with Salah when you expect to be back so he can open gate. Some alleys in fes medina are not well lit so wandering about at night can feel sketchy, so be vigilant when random locals offer to be a guide or help. If you need a guide Salah can offer to book a guide for you.

Salah was very friendly. Reached out via WhatsApp to coordinate my arrival and check in. Breakfast portions are big and included. Room is spacious and clean. Mini fridge and AC worked.

We enjoyed our stay, so it would be details that could be improved. The breakfast could have had a little fruit, or even some tomato/cucumber slices, in addition to all the sweet breads. More than two hangers in the closet would be good. A bracket to hold the shower head would be useful. The current one is broken.

The Riad, its public areas and rooms, were splendid. The views from the enclosed roof terrace were great. The beds were comfortable, if firm, and we both slept very well for the three nights we were there. Air conditioning functioned well. The welcome was wonderful, the desk clerk was waiting for us at the gate into the medina to walk us to the riad at 1am (and was there in the morning to check us in) and arranged other services we required. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. The Riad, while not right on the two principal alleys down and up through old Fez, is close enough that you can reach them in 5-10 minutes. La Perle is excellently located for access by taxi, and close to some really nice restaurants.

Maybe make the restaurant bit more cozy and attractive! and maybe small bar, nice to hangout on the open terrace for coffee or tea and other drinks.

Close to the main attraction in Medina even though the small street is so confusing, but this is an excellent place to stay. Beside that we park the car in the free parking spot outside the wall but only 3 minutes walk.

Unfortunately, due to the size and design of the Riad, anyone talking in the courtyard or leaving early could be heard from our room. The bathroom whilst OK was not to the standard of the bedroom. Lastly, whilst substantial, the breakfast was not as good as our Riad in Marrakech, but it was certainly plentiful.

The bedroom (King room, Fes suite) was beautiful and very large. The inside of the Riad was also amazing. Sala on reception and Said on breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

As with most Riad's, being open, it could get quite noisy at times.

Service was fabulous - went above and beyond - even waking up at 2am to give us breakfast for our journey. Breakfast and dinner were excellent also. Room was spacious and well appointed.

There was a fair amount of noise from within the property itself but it’s worth speaking to the manager to see what they could do.

The location was superb….very close to old medina but also in a quiet location and easy to find place. Traditional architecture and very spacious rooms. Breakfast was a little bit heavy on breads and on request they adjusted it to include fruit and salad. Manager and staff were amazing and helpful. It can take a long time for hot water to come through the system. Ask them to show you which way is hot otherwise it will take a long time to figure out.

    Nothing to mention

Firstly I want to mention the staff. Salah, the manager of the Riad, is extremely friendly and nice person. All the time he was ready to help and answer any questions. We felt like a family for this 3 days. Also he recommended us his friend, local guide Adil. And it was the best idea to explore Fes. Cause this two guys have opened the city to us from the all sides. The location of Riad is very convenient. 5-7 minutes to the Blue Gates. The parking is very close to the hotel that was important for us. The room was comfortable and spacious. The heating was working well. WiFi is fast. And the breakfast is various. Every morning we had some different features. Next time will stay here again

    Nothing!!

This is a brand new Riad in a very good location of fes Medina, the riad itself is gorgeous and detailed with Moroccan handcraft. My room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable bed. The staff are very welcoming thanks to Mohamed he was so attentive and willing to help . I loved the food, despite arriving late I was able to eat at the riad, very tasty tagin, also breakfast is nice in a beautiful terrace. I booked an excellent guide with the riad, he was excellent about Fes history and culture. I recommend to stay over than two nights because this place feels like home.
