Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThere was a clog in the shower drain which resulted in water flooding the bathroom. This should be fixed immediately. The room has an opening above the door where light sneaks in and you can hear everybody in the lobby and the doorbell to enter the place. A code should be installed to enter at night to not disturb others
The location was good, comfortable beds with air conditioning.

Breakfast was amazing. Staff was super friendly, did everything they could to help us. Good value for money. Rooms are not special but perfect for a city trip. Owner was also really friendly. Nice view from the roof.

SpainWe didn't have a glass window in our room, only a wooden shutter. Therefore, we couldn't sleep at all; it was super noisy, like sleeping with the window open. If you wanted natural light, you had to open the wooden shutter, which meant the window was completely open because there was no glass. The street is very noisy, and you can hear the traffic all night. Our friends had a glass window but no curtains, so they woke up at 6 AM because the room was extremely bright.
The staff is very helful and nice. They have the riad spottless. Free parking on the street.

TurkeyOur Riad was humble with basic amenities. It is understandable for a hostel. You may need to bring a hairdryer with. Since it was a bustling city even at night, our street was a little noisy but we slept well.
We were kindly welcomed to the Riad Malayine. Our hosts were very attentive. Polite ladies served us great breakfast. It has a nice and panoramic view of the Medina. It was close to every historic and touristic point. We could easily find the address.

SloveniaThe address of hotel on booking site was not accureate which cost us half an hour to find it and help from the locals which of course also inclucded fees. When travelling with kids this could be stressful expirience. The toilet (bathroom) in the room was seperated from the sleeping area only by a low wall ..
Friendly hosts, a very good location and breakfast.

United KingdomThe room we stayed in had no windows, the bathroom/toilet had open walls with retro swinging doors, the toilet flush kept making loud noise after each flush, we were there for 5 nights and 4 days but our room was cleaned/fresh towels once on the last day. There were no facilities in the riad, hair dryer, no flat iron, no bottled water, clothes hangers, etc. however the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they were always polite to us.

EstoniaAnd breakfast was good until at the last morning when they served very old bread cut to pieces. Due to the traffic outside unfortunately it's very noisy inside the room. Coffee way too expensive - 5 euros.
The room was really nice and clean. Location is good as it's near to the main streets in Medina.

This property was absolutely perfect in every way! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, making us feel instantly at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding—everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. The location couldn’t be better, providing easy access to everything we wanted to explore in Morocco. But what truly made our experience unforgettable were the incredible hosts. Their kindness, attentiveness, and local insights elevated our stay to a whole new level. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience, and their hospitality alone is enough to make me want to return. This place exceeded all expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again—just to stay here! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Morocco.

IndiaSomeone has already mentioned that if they get a big booking they will put false blame on you and ask you to leave the Riad, same happened with me. I had booked it online for 4 days and then extended for 1 day which was ok then we wanted to extend it for 1 more day ( we stayed here because whole amount was already paid, and extension was only as we had huge luggage ) on the 5 day the filthy manager/ care taker knocks the door and yells and said you are smoking in the room and its not allowed, i asked him to come inside the room and check personally but he denied and said you will have to check out immediately. I understood their entire game, the got the another booking for 2 days hence they asked us to leave. Then he argued with me saying i let you order and eat food in the room, drink in the room and it is not allowed.in fact i asked him forbeer and he said i have 4 beers will give you but please dont let the staff know. That manager smokes sheesha till late night everyday on the terrace and is sleeping on the sofa or couch till late afternoons The breakfast is not fresh everything in stocked in the fridger for more than a week. They charge you 50 dhs for the awful breakfast that too is limited. In 5 days of stay the room was even cleaned once. Tho owner and manager plays good cop and bad cop. In one sentence I would say dont book this Riad. It would spoil your stay in Marakech ***I would be surprised If they reply with false allegations to prove that they were innocent ****
Just the terrace

United KingdomThe room was located by the reception area, very noisy all night with phone ringing and also by the main street, a loud area, with a huge amount of motorbikes passing all day and night in this street. Also, the staff cannot speak English, which is quite bad for understanding each other through Google Translate. Take money with you to pay for the property otherwise, they will charge you 5% by paying by card. Our room has the shower room blocked all the time we were taking shower we had a flood in the bathroom area. I do not recommend this Ryad.
Unfortunately, the location is around a 15 to 20-minute walk to the Medina. The Ryad is located on a main street very noisy all day and night. for this reason, we did not have a nice restful sleep.

United KingdomThe rooms were not very clean. One of the rooms that we were offered initially stank. We had to complain and they later changed it. There was no full length mirror in the room and we asked for one when we realised. I will definitely not recommend for a girls travelling to Marrakesh. The bathrooms had no doors and was not very clean. Made our skin crawl the whole time. Some of the staff were nice but overall, this is not a place to stay if you want to have a good trip. We even wanted to leave but due to the cancellation policy we couldn’t so I would avoid this place as a whole. Decent price tho

GermanyGreat Service! I forgot my jacket in the room and asked the manager to send it to my last hotel in Casablanca. Without any question, he has sent the jacket the same day and paid for the postage fee in advance. This was awesome. Thanks again! Another highlight is the breakfast on the rooftop terrace which was great and the location is also perfect. Central but quiet. Highly recommended.
