It was a little oasis, despite being in the middle of the hustle and bustle ouside, once you step through the door you enter a calming peaceful place. The breakfast is amazing by the way, and sets you up perfectly for a busy day sightseeing. Highly recommended *****

I didn't like leaving. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a small swimming pool or larger jacuzzi, and if possible alcohol at the riad would have been a nice addition.

The staff and hospitality were by far the greatest aspect of staying here. They simply couldn't do enough for you and gave you the recommendations and information you needed for a wholesome trip. Broheim was particularly helpful and also used the opportunity to give us some history and local language lessons.

The pool is a bit on the small side, but still provided good opportunities to cool down.

We had a fantastic stay in Road Maipa. Emanuele & Liliya are fantastic hosts, and will look fteafterr you very well, and provide great advice and recommendations. They are fantastic hosts and the staff is very friendly. The Riad itself is very well decorated , with great attention to details.and in an amazing location in the heart of the Medina. A peaceful heaven!

I cannot find anything I didn't like.

The Liliya and Emmanuele bring a very personal touch to hosting in this beautiful Riad. They have put so much thought into the renovation of the Riad and the experience for their guests. Every little touch was perfect down to purified water in the room, avoiding plastic bottles! The breakfast was excellent, as was the booked evening menu, which I would recommend arranging for one night. The staff were delightful and attentive! This is an oasis in the centre of the Medina that you shouldn't miss.

That we didn’t make reservations for an in-house dinner. The breakfast was fresh and a great variety of food. Personal service, we felt like royalty.

The location was perfect, you would never know that just outside is the hustle and bustle of the markets. The beautiful couple who own this property are so helpful and kind.

The owners and their staff were absolutely fantastic. The Riad has been refurbished and is maintained to a very high standard. It is well located in the Medina, breakfast was excellent. Overall one of the best places we have stayed in.

The host (Liliya) and staff (Brahim) at the property were really helpful and courteous. They go out of their way to make your stay at the riad as well as your visit to Marrakesh pleasant and beautiful. Their recommendations like where to eat out, which hammam spa to go and which all café’s to visit were really on point. Liliya (host) really helped us a lot and would definitely recommend the place! Thanks Riad Maipa for making our first time in Marrakesh memorable!

My daughter and me just spent 5 wonderful nights at the Riad Maïpa and absolutely loved it! The big room looked very authentic and was well-decorated and spotless clean. Our hosts, Liliya and Emanuele, an Italien couple, were very kind and warm and helpfull all the time. For example they organised the pick-up from the airport, a private tour guide for the first day, some restaurant reservation and more. You should definitely not miss at least one dinner at Maïpa. We enjoyed it on the arrival day- it was splendid and generous and set high standards for later dinners in the Medina. The location of the Riad is perfect; indeed only 5 minutes to walk to the buzzling big place Jemaa el Fna. Although the markets are all around it was absolutely safe all the time also for two women! There would be much more to mention like the wonderful terrace at a roof-top, the overwhelming breakfast every morning or the very nice team (Brahim, Youness, Fatima and one other young woman) - everything deserved a « 10 out of 10». We felt at home and do hope to return some time.

Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and very knowledgable about the local area with some great recommendations. The riad was very clean and beautifully decorated. Large traditional breakfast well presented every morning, you won't leave hungry. Evening meal service available with 48 hours notice to source fresh produce & marinate was also very good. Good location a 5 minute walk from the main square when it's quiet, however may take 10-15 minutes during busy times as the street outside can be very slow moving. Once in the riad however it is very peaceful and hard to imagine it's so busy outside.

It’s hard to think of a negative, but at a push, the birds sang a little too early before sunrise 😁

The online photos and the reality were absolutely spot on, a very comfortable oasis in the midst of the chaos of a bustling city. Every detail was perfect, modern with Moroccan authenticity, a spacious room with use of the whole of the Riad, including two sun terraces, ample places to unwind and relax. Our hosts and all the staff were so welcoming and thoughtful, from the first welcoming mint tea to the last, and even a beautiful personal gift and birthday macaroon…cannot fault them.

The breakfasts were delicious, everything freshly prepared and beautifully served, including information about all the products. The staff was very nice and very professional. The owners of this Riad were very helpful in organizing our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by their recommendations - everything exceeded our expectations. We felt very well looked after and the owners organized our stay so well that in a few days we fell in love with this place and Marrakech. We will definitely go back there!

Great Central Location an Oasis of calm from the busy Medina streets. Beautiful Breakfast prepared and presented with so much care. The staff were the highlight of the Riad all so welcoming, attentive, and proud to share the culture of Marrakesh. The property has been restored with so much love and care to keep to the original style and methods used for centuries.

The most beautiful accommodation we have ever visited, with gorgeous interior, amazing food, and sustainable management, is topped off with incredible hosts and staff who go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. Such an incredible stay! The riad was extremely quiet, beautiful and peaceful, despite being nestled in the centre of the bustling historic town - we couldn't have asked for a better location. The hosts of the riad were incredibly accommodating and the breakfast exceeded our expectations by a mile. There was always someone in to greet us, even when we were back late at night - Ibrahim who works the night shift was particularly friendly and helpful and really made our stay even more memorable. Thank you everyone at Maipa for a lovely stay! :) We would thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in Marrakesh.

We had a wonderful stay at Maipa Riad and couldn't have made a better choice. Right in the heart of the Medina, it's close to everything. We loved the breakfast, the traditional Moroccan dinner, the terrace with sun loungers and warm jacuzzi, the traditional style found throughout the riad, the spacious room and the room facilities, the large shower, even the Moroccon toiletries offered showed incredible attention to details. But most of all, we appreciated the hospitality of the hosts and the friendliness of the staff in general. We were offered useful tips and information that really improved our trip.

We found the main access street particularly busy to negotiate, but typical of the Medina.

Beautifully restored riad. Attentive, friendly, considerate proprietors and staff with good local knowledge and who genuinely wanted you to be pleased. Peaceful and calm environment. Roof top terrace and jacuzzi. Attention to detail and quality. The breakfast and dinners were very good, fresh and plentiful. The room felt very Moroccan and was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Location; central Medina and great for exploring that area. Easy access to main square and taxis and the hotel provided an excellent pickup and return service between the airport and the riad.

We had a lovely stay at Maipa Boutique. Both Lillya ano Emmanuel were very kind, accommodating and helpful for our whole stay, in their beautiful Riad. It's in a great location to explore the old town and everything that we wanted to do/ see was in walking distance. The breakfast provided was fantastic- pastries/daily egg dish/fruit/fresh juices etc and they even sorted a small birthday dish for my boyfriend. We would definitely stay again and would recommend!

The location was perfect, central but quiet. The room was larger than expected and extremely comfortable. we had a wonderful reception on arrival with tea and cakes. A full tour of the riad and its history. The bathroom was spacious and came with exquisite soaps, creams etc. The bed was delicious, plenty of pillows, great linen and a firm mattress. Kettle in room and milk supplied if asked for. Nothing was missed!

Rooms are a bit dark, more sunlight would be appreciated - characteristic of riads in general. In Morocco the beds are not as soft as in Europe.

Rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated. Owners / hosts are kind, polite and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. They offer a private dinner service with excellence.
