Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing bad to say at all, we loved everything.
Beautiful riad, we wish we could have stayed longer. The room was so traditional, Berber style, we absolutely loved it. We travelled all around Morocco and this was by far the nicest riad we stayed in. The staff were so helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was also traditional, and clearly home made which made it even more delicious. The courtyard was just so perfect, we fell in love with the whole building. The tortoises came to surprise us at breakfast which just added to the beautiful setting. We couldn’t believe everything we got for such a small price. Thank you so much for our stay!

CanadaBeautiful, peaceful Riad and courtyard in the middle of Fes. I think the best choice to be so close to the Medina, yet in a less touristy/calmer location. The breakfast and supper were both incredible too

Everything! The people that work there are incredible. The aesthetic and decoration of the Riad. The food was top notch incredible and the best we had on our trip. Get ready to be spoiled! Russia-
The hosts are simply incredible! We have not encountered such hospitality and respect in all of Morroco! This is very, very good, after such a reception you feel like you are in a caring and safe family. As soon as we entered, our things were immediately taken to our room, we were given tea, and told about the city. The breakfast was simply the best in all of Morroco! The hostess Hayat is incredibly nice and I highly recommend this Ryad!

IrelandUnbelievable staff. People are lovely everywhere in Morocco, but the staff at Riad Lune et Soleil went above and beyond and their thoughtfulness and attention was unparalleled but also not hovering or invasive. From the cleaning staff to the manager to the cook and everybody else, we didn't have a single bad experience. Dinners at the Riad were delicious, breakfast was decadent. Rooms were comfortable and cosy, decorated with items from the local artisan coop. Location is great right in the medina.

It was just perfect. Good location with easy access, beautiful riad, the room was full of character, very spacious, breakfast was amazing! Same than the dinners, the best food so far we tried in Fez. United KingdomWi-Fi a little slow and not available everywhere.
Beautiful Riad with a proper garden in the middle. Wonderfully decorated with old pictures and clothing everywhere on the walls, and plants throughout the building. It feels like a lot of thought has gone into decorating this building, so that you feel like you are staying in a grand, original, old house.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Lune et Soleil. The location was perfect for our many adventures. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious! We enjoyed hanging out in the garden with the tortoises during our downtime - the highlight of our 3-yo daughter’s stay at the riad! We can’t wait to return.

United KingdomThis Riad is an incredible little oasis of peace and beauty in the heart of Fes- its location lends itself to an easy walk to the Medina and also to other sightseeing spots around Fes (the Jewish quarter, the Marinid tombs etc). My partner and I spent three three nights here and didn't regret a minute of it. The central courtyard is breathtaking - we enjoyed some mint tea under the two beautiful orange trees! The rooftop is equally beautiful - because the mornings were chilly, we enjoyed our breakfasts there (the breakfasts are incredible, so please don't miss out). Most importantly, the staff at this Riad are absolutely incredible - they're warm, supportive, helpful and they make you feel as though you're coming home to a familiar space, and not a hotel. A special shout-out to Hayat, Nordene and the rest of the wonderful staff - thank you for making our stay what it was! We'd recommend this Riad to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient and beautiful stay!

United KingdomAmazing stay! Lovely staff, wonderful Riad and perfect location. We came for 3 nights with my brother and sister and absolutely adored it. Hayat and everyone at the Riad is so welcoming and helpful - they organised the airport pick up and drop off, a day-guide and shared lots of recommendations. We had a lovely suite in the ground floor, opening to the shared garden where breakfast and dinner is served. The food is exquisite. The Riad is in the Medina and close to everything, we walked everywhere as the city is not super big. Would definitely recommend!!

United KingdomPerfect location on the edge of the Medina where the taxi can drop you off outside the road but with direct access to wander the labyrinth of the old town by foot. Charming intimate riad with a trickling fountain, citrus trees, exceptionally cheerful, welcoming staff and a healthy Moroccan breakfast. (See my photos) There is a peaceful roof terrace with reclining chairs and tropical plants.
