Abdul has created an amazing space with jaw-dropping woodworking details and historical artifacts. He beams with pride in his accomplishment (as he should). He was a perfect host. He said he was available to us for any reason 24 hours a day. He was happy to arrange tours and cars for us. It was a good, quiet location, a short distance from the hustle and bustle of the blue gate, but also not too far from a different gate for taxi drop-off, etc.

We have never stayed anywhere like this! The best place we stayed in Morocco. If you don’t stay here when you get to Fes, you are missing out! Abdi was the most wonderful host. Our breakfast was delicious and he even sent us away with a packed one when we had an early morning. He showed us around Fes and always was kind & helpful. The interior is so beautiful- we loved everything about our stay- and you will too!

    Nothing- it was perfect.

Hospitality of the owner. Very tasty homemade breakfast.

Riad located in the old Medina so in consequence you can not expect modern room. In our bathroom smell of sawage.

Our room in the riad was very clean & organized. We have our private bathroom which was also very clean and shower toiletries was also provided though we brought & used our own toiletries. We stayed for 4 days in this riad and the owner of the riad named Abdul was very welcoming, respectful, friendly & helpful. Every morning he arranged Moroccan breakfast for us between 8:30-10:30am based on our preferred time. We will highly recommend this riad.

Dar Kirami is a thoughtful and beautifully restored house. We enjoyed hearing the story of it's glow up from the host who no doubt put a lot of love in it and shared the before and after photos of the process. It's location was great, within walking distance to all the sights of the old medina. Also has a beautiful view from the rooftop terrace! The host was really friendly and helpful and contacted us prior to arriving to ensure everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly -- which it did! We also appreciate the short walk around the Old Medina and did not pressure us to buy anything. Most appreciated was our thoughtfully bundled breakfast which the host prepared for us because we were leaving really early for our Sahara trip. Thank you for everything!

Unfortunately, there was a bad sewer smell that came from the toilet at night and it filled the whole room throughout the night, even with leaving the window slightly ajar.

We only stayed for one night without any set plans, but the owner went above and beyond to make our short stay memorable. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, and gave us the best food recommendation—we ended up having the most amazing dinner of our entire trip in Morocco! Even with just half a day in Fes, he helped us make the most of it by arranging a private tour of the Medina and organizing transportation to the airport at a convenient time and fair price. His thoughtful help truly made our time in Fes special. The riad itself is also beautiful—each room is uniquely designed with so much care and attention to detail. You can really feel the love and effort put into creating a memorable experience for guests. Thank you for everything!

    Property response:

It was an honor to meet you and you were very kind guests.

A beautifully renovated historical riad located perfectly, to explore the old Medina from. You'll be welcomed by one of the most passionate and hospitable hosts, who'll help you get along in the city, making great suggestions for which places to see. The riad provides a lovely terrace on it's rooftop, with an astonishing view over the old parts of Fès. You'll be close to a parking space to leave your car savely, reachable by foot in only 5 min.

    Nothing to complain about

The place is absolutely stunning and is arranged with a lot of love and attention to detail. The staff (abdu) does anything he can to make you feel confortable at home. The bed and linings are top quality, and that is not common in morroco. The value is incredible, you get much more than what you pay for.

This is an old house in the medina, it's cold in winter and there is a foul smell that leaks in. the host is extremely nice but is in tourism business, he recommended a very expensive and honestly pretty bad restaurant.

The host was extremely helpful with transport to and from the accommodation, sightseeing program and which souks to buy from and which ones to avoid. The riad was great and well decorated. The breakfast was very good and the location next to every major sight.

A bit noisy in the morning if you sleep on the ground floor.

A really beautiful Riad. Abdul the owner / manager really made the whole experience. He had put so much effort into making the place really nice and he was incredibly helpful with tips and suggestions for what to do.

The drain in the room was a little smelly but Abdul provided incense sticks for this - wasn't an issue

The host was fantastic. It's a family business that really cares about the guest experience. Even before I arrived, I was sent messages about avoiding tourist traps. The decor was amazing and the location was excellent: in the medina but in quiet corner. The rooftop view was an added plus. Also, the shower had a good, stable temperature.

the communication was easy and quick. i was picked up at the airport (22€) and then greeted at the house with tea. everything was explained to me and the owner is really pleasent and a joy to talk to. each room has it's own theming, the common areas were clean and also looked very fresh. the view from the terracce is nice and gives a good layout of the old medina. This makes walking to all the attractions very easy and then to find your way back is no problem. one street over and down was a little shop were you can buy everything you need (water/food/cards/..,.) the breakfast was good with enough refills if you like lots of coffee like me ;) then we went over all the sights i wanted to see and if i missed something we marked it together on google maps. you can pay in dirham and in euros if you didn't manage to withdraw some money after landing. otherwise you can withdraw money without a fee only from ATMs from Al Barid bank (there is an ATM near the blue gate, not far away from the house) every question/problem/recommendation/... was quickly answered via WhatsAp which made it very easy to stay there. Would stay there again next time for sure.

The owner of the Riad, Abdo, made every effort so I could have a wonderful stay there. He was very kind and gave me suggestions of places to visit. He prepared good breakfast in the mornings. The decoration of the Riad resembled a little palace in several parts of it. His brother Mehdi picked me up from the train station when I arrived and at the end of the stay took me back to the train station ( Gare), it was worth it paying a little extra compared to a petit taxi, especially on the arrival to a new city where they speak a language that i don’t speak ( Arabic)😅 Location was good, easy walks to the attractions and markets.

Maybe the stairs…😀 But actually maybe it is a good thing for the legs!!! I was just in the top floor!!
