Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI would have liked some protein with breakfast, whether it be an egg or some sausage, etc. Was very good otherwise.
The staff were amazing. The location was very good, close to the taxi stand as well as the souks. The neighbouring riad was very helpful and allowed us to sit when we'd lost our key. We were able to get taxis to the airport from the riad, and breakfast was nice too.

ItalyIf I have to find something,I would suggest to add a kettle in the room and a small fridge
The staff was discrete and courteous. The location is great, in the heart of old town but not noisy because of the small street it is located

United StatesThe only negative thing was the smell of the bathroom but this is probably normal for older riads. We were on the 2nd floor room at the end of the hallway. We were only there one night so it did not bother us much. Other than this, our stay was perfect!
The staff at the riad set up our transportation which was helpful to get to the riad and when we arrived was able to help set up transportation to go to the airport. Our host met us and helped with our bags. He was very kind and able to serve us a delicious breakfast the day we arrived since we were not able to eat breakfast the day we left due to an early flight. We only stayed one night due to this was the end of our trip. The riad was very clean and even had our room earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. Our room was on the 2nd floor and our host helped us bring our luggage upstairs (note there are no elevators).

GermanyOur shower head was broken but it was instantly fixed after we have let them know. Also, would have been nice if there would be more variety for breakfast. There was only sweet breakfast every morning.
Staff was exceptionally nice! We really enjoyed our stay there!

NetherlandsNothing at all.
Amazing service in a beautiful riad! The attention to detail was so great, from the mint tea upon arrival with some small Moroccan treats, to the heart shaped towels and fruit when leaving, this was one of our favourite places to stay in Morocco!

GermanyThe sound insulation in the rooms, as one can hear everything in the court yard. I guess a room on the second floor is better for this reason.
Great location. Close enough to the buzz of the old town and main square. Far enough from it and the continuous noise from the motorbikes.

CroatiaEverything from the beginning to the end of the stay in this Riad was perfect. The location is a few minutes walk from the main square. Excellent location. The hosts were available 0/24. We arranged transportation from the airport and back with them. Everything was on time and Abdul welcomed us when we arrived. At the reception, we received welcome tea and instructions on where to eat and what to see in Marrakech. They cleaned the room every day and gave us clean towels. The Riad is quiet, you might hear a little murmuring of people while eating breakfast, but that's part of the experience and it didn't bother us. The beds are comfortable and clean, the breakfast was excellent. Breakfast is more sweet than salty, but the ladies from the kitchen kindly prepared eggs for breakfast. We definitely recommend the riad.

Absolutely everything. Riad was super clean, parking was super close and the owner walked us from and to the parking lot. They also walked us through the best roads to use to get the best out of Medina. The location was perfect, close to everything and no weird alleys. Will always recommend this place!

United KingdomWe were happy with our stay.
We have just come back from a wonderful stay at the Riad Amegrad. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to be close enough to the main center but still having some peace and quiet. All the staff were very professional and attentive. The taxi drops you off close by as the road doesn't allow cars down it but someone from the riad comes to pick you up and take you there. It was all a very smooth process. Our bedroom slept 4 and the courtyard was a beautiful sight to wake to every morning. On our last day we had lunch (paid extra) and it was set out and ready on time and absolutely delicious. I would stay again.

PolandA very nice place, very close to every bustle and hustle in Marrakesk but inside Riad is very silent. Tea and cookies to welcom us. A room looks exactly like on photos. Is bigger than I thougth. Bed and linen are VERY comfortable, a real mattress, not a sponge, what was important to me. Extraordinary breakfast on patio. You can ordere some eggs and they prepare a quite good coffe. Many side dishes, fruits, yogurt, evry days one or two things were dieffrent. It os a 5-7 minutes away from a main market and the rest interesting place.

United KingdomPersonally would prefer easier/more access to sockets (but we were in the triple room needing access to charging×3 so perhaps specific to our requirements).
Really friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful and peaceful styling within the riad. Catered well for our vegetarian requirements for breakfast. Abdul really helpful for booking trips and offering us a relaxing mint tea when returning from long days out. Riad very well located for the souks etc. Most sights within easy walking distance. We even walked fairly easily to/from the majorelle gardens. No complaints, would definitely recommend.
