It's really close to the medina. The staff is super friendly and will help you with anything. The breakfast was really good.

It was close to Medina. Only a few minutes to the little red taxi rank. Staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for Amine and Sunny. A pool is a must when staying in the Medina theirs was excellent. Great breakfast everymorning. The evening meals were lovely. Try the starters also.

Beer and wine were UK prices. coming from Spain i found them pricey but same everywhere.

Riad Jamaï is a peaceful haven tucked away in the vibrant medina of Fes. The place itself is absolutely stunning — full of character, with beautiful traditional architecture and tasteful decoration that reflects the soul of Moroccan culture. Every corner feels like it’s been carefully curated to create a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was not only charming but also very comfortable, with beds that made it easy to rest after long days exploring the city. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, hardworking, and genuinely attentive — always making sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth and care played a huge role in making our time in Fes so special. A very special thank you to Meriam, who looked after us with such kindness. We are deeply grateful. What an experience, and what a magical place — highly recommended!

It's a beautiful riad with a nice terrace and a fresh indoor pool inside. My room: nice bathroom, the beds were very comfortable! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my car and the hotel manager was so kind to help me with this (he spent more than 2 hours to help me with this: driving with me to a garage, explaining the problem to the mechanic, waiting with me until it was finished... , without asking anything for this!). Thank you so much to staff and manager for your excellent care! I felt very cared for!🧡 I highly recommend this riad! My warmest regards, Hilde

Staff were very helpful and the Riad was beautiful

Having to be let in by staff as the outer door was locked however this seems to be normal practice

It was beautiful. We stayed in a suite which was so spacious. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed one evening meal here and it was delicious. Exceptional value for money. The Riad organised a local guide for us to visit the medina, and we really enjoyed it. This was the best part of visiting Fez.

Beautiful riad, staff were very friendly. Provided breakfast. We had to leave early before checkout and they gave breakfast for the journey. Mustafa (I think that’s his name) helped us with the tour and the dos and don’t in the city. Very helpful thank you.

Had a nice stay at Riad Jamai, Very friendly and accommodating staff, fantastic value for money and great location.

Lights in room were low lit, would of preferred brighter lights especially for bathroom. One instance there was no hot water in the morning.

Seemingly beautiful riad, with traditional interior design. Comfy beds with hard mattresses. The stuff is amazing! Helpful and friendly, organized everything for us - a city tour (recommending a tour guide called Mouhcine), a desert tour, taxis...

Bathrooms - moist, smelly, not fully functional (faucet falling off, not being able to close the water fully), water leaking down from the sink, no shower curtain in the very small space so the whole bathroom was wet. No natural ventilation / window, so the moist stays trapped forever. The whole riad needs a full sanitary renovation to make it functional and healthy! Moist is not fun, especially for longer stays where the guests are exposed to its inhalation unlimitedly. Also, not enough light in the bathrooms. While appreciating the traditional architecture, grouts on the mosaic tiles cannot be cleaned intensively. I really disliked not having an outdoor window for fresh air and natural sunlight. The only window was facing the riad's middle section, meaning no sound insulation, and no light insulation.

Hosts are very kind and supportive. Location is very nice.

One thing I want to suggest is to reduce noise outside. It might be caused by a nightclub and lasts till midnight.

Beautiful Riad. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room, with the riad’s sitting and dining area great to relax in. Sometimes with a mint tea after our exploring! We also used the roof a lot - had a couple of days when we did a little less sight seeing and prioritised reading and resting on the roof. Riad Jamai is situated near the edge of the medina so making it easy both to explore the medina fully by foot, and also if you want to use the Petit Taxi it’s easy to get a taxi from or to other gates. Don’t miss the bustling local streets - the Andalusian Mosque and Tanneries are close by, and the shops and stalls have a different feel near the riad (fewer tourists). Further in, we enjoyed the Nejjarine wood crafts museum and the Al-Atterine Madrassa in the old town - as well as specific souks (such as the henna souk). Also a little further out but still quite local are the Marinid tombs. We organised 2 trips out through Riad Jamai (Volubilis/Meknes; Mid Atlas) which was a lovely way to explore. Recommend also a trip to the new town (we tried a hammam) and if you are interested in the working equids of Fes the American Fondouk (veterinary care for donkeys, mules and horses) is open to the public 8-12 on weekdays, is a short taxi drive away, and is also near the Jewish Quarter - which was well worth the visit. V We found Riad Jamai a friendly, helpful and very beautiful spot to do so much exploring from with great breakfasts and when we wanted to eat in that was wonderful too. I was with my mum and we were visiting my niece - the final night we had my niece and some of her friends over and we had a great meal there on our last night.

Beautiful riad, very comfortable. Good rooms. Excellent breakfast (but starts only at 08h30- could perhaps start at 08h00?). A little removed from the major old city sights - around 30 minute walk.
