Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeNothing, though if I be honest, their breakfast was the best I had in Morocco and from now my expectation of breakfast from other riads in other cities will always fall short🥲
The whole Riad is magnifique. Surreal view of the city from the rooftop. The breakfast, the room, the view and the people in the riad was a perfect blend of harmony that created my stay in Fez memorable. Thank you, Marjorie and Pascal!

United StatesSteep stairs.
Marjorie and Pascal were superb hosts and took care of all our needs. It is close to one of the Medina gates. Breakfast was very good. Room was good size. They upgraded us to a bigger room at a lower floor.

United StatesNothing.
Marjorie and Pascal were very hospitable hosts. They have a special ability to connect with a variety of travelers. They will help you if asked or let you relax with privacy if that is what you want. The location of the facility is a particular advantage with the Bab Guissa gate being a 2 minute walk. The Riad was extremely clean. The terrace allows for a bird's eye view of the medina while enjoying a meal or just a mint tea. The breakfast and dinner prepared by Bushka were delicious. Our stay at this Riad was a highlight of our trip.

CanadaThis is the place you need to stay in Fez. The hosts are incredibly welcoming (meeting and dropping us at the taxi) and went out of their way (going shopping to find us an electrical adaptor) to make our stay easy. The view from the balcony, amazing breakfasts and perfect mix of old and new decor was exactly what we wanted. Thank you!

NetherlandsWe were warmly welcomed by the owners, who are really friendly and speak English well (and French). The riad is really beautiful and very clean. The meals (dinner and breakfest) were very good and served on the terras, with stunning views over the old town. The location of the riad is good too, in a quiet recedential area, about a 10 min walk to the more busy parts of the old town.

The food from Bouchra is excellent, we had by far the best food there throughout our whole two weeks trip. The ambience and interior was very well selected and cozy. The rooms were spotless. We highly recommend to stay there!

GermanyWe had a wonderful stay at this Riad with Marjorie and Pascal as incredible welcoming and lovely hosts. The Riad is very beautiful and has the most beautiful view over the old town of Fes - having breakfast here or spending the evening with a Morrocan mint tea was a true highlight. Marjorie and Pascal put a lot of heart in this Riad and have lots of good advices, they also organized a driver to pick us up from the airport for a very good price. Thank you so much again for making this stay so special and all the best to you!

United StatesI’m so glad I trusted the Booking.com reviews and chose Riad Inaya Fez for my first visit to Morocco. The wonderful French owners went above and beyond to ensure my stay was an extra special one. Their lovingly renovated building has cozy, comfortable rooms, and there are unbeatable views from the deck and rooftop. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners while looking out over the beautiful old Medina. It was quite a memorable visit, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the coming years!

The building is perfectly restored by the hard work of the wonderful hosts Marjorie and Pascal - the soul of the place. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was very good. This place should be on anyone list if going to Fez. This place is better than the photos.

BulgariaI came across some guest reviews with complaints, but I honestly don’t understand them—everything here is typical for Morocco and exactly what one would expect. We had no complaints at all.
I specifically booked a room with a view, and it did not disappoint. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Marjorie and Pascal were very friendly and helped us find a guide for our walk in Fez medina, which we really enjoyed The location is also highly convenient, with easy access from Bab Guisa and a variety of restaurants within a 10-minute walk. If I ever return, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

ItalyNot a problem for us, but the riad is conveniently located in a quieter area of the Medina, which might make you feel a little insicure at first when coming back in the evening. But Pascal and Marjorie reassured us a lot and made us feel perfectly comfortable.
Beautifully decorated, newly renovated Riad. Every detail is placed with love and attention. Marjorie and Pascal are the perfect hosts, helpful and kind, as well ad very nice people to talk to. They gave us useful tips and were always there in case of need. Breakfast is lovely and served on a beautiful terrace, with a stunning view overseeing the most beautiful Medina we’ve seen in Morocco. All great!

SwitzerlandThis is hands down the best establishment we experienced in Fez and Morocco actually! The wonderful French hosts welcomed us for Christmas into their Riad with some unmatched & unexpected warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm, making our stay truly unforgettable. Out of the 12 different locations we visited during our Moroccan adventure, this was the rare gem where the A/C and heating system worked perfectly; a true blessing after the cold nights in the Merzouga desert. The breathtaking view alone is worth booking, but the delicious breakfast and tea took the experience to another level. Thank you again for your exceptional hospitality. Our time in Fez was memorable, and your care allowed us to recover and recharge completely. Highly recommend! Dear hosts, thanks again for this experience and happy new year!

United Kingdom1. Noise in some rooms. NEVER book the rooms facing Medina as we did, that was a big mistake, which I was sorry about all our stay there. At 6am you will hear a terrible noise by muezzins from all surrounding minorets. The noise is so huge as if they all sing right in your bed, straight to your ear. As I understood only the two rooms facing Medina have this problem, and rooms downstairs (which are cheaper, by the way) do not have it. We couldn’t sleep normally all our stay in Fes. 2. The room was nice, but the lack of door to WC in our room was a weird thing. Dear hosts, do think of installing the door in WC area, it’s not normal to live like this. 3. Would be good to change the towels at least once in two days. We stayed there three nights, and there was no towel change. 4. The location is average. It is close to the centre and the souk, but there are no good places to eat nearby, in fact, almost all of them are at the other side of Medina. So, to get there you need to get through quite unpleasant and dirty areas.
1. Incredible view on Medina from the terrace and two rooms, which have windows facing Medina. 2. Fantastic hosts, Pascal and Marjorie, trying their best to create the atmosphere of home and coziness. They met us at the entrance to Medina when we arrived late night to get to Riad quickly, we really appreciated such attitude. 3. Very good and tasty breakfast. 4. The Riad is very clean, beautifully decorated and has lots of interesting and old artefacts. 5. Good value for the price you pay.
