Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandComparing to other Riads in Fes it was expensive. We had other Riads which had a higher level for same price.
The owners were very kind. They took a lot of time to explain us everything. We had a very good meal at their Riad. The place was quiet and clean and authentic. We felt like in a family and owners treated us with a warm heart. Thank you very much for hospitality and for your kind cooperation for birthday in the morning of our mother!

UkraineThat we could only stay one night before flying back.
We arrived and were offered tea on the roof terrace which was a nice start. Then the owner came and explained to us everything we needed to see in the city giving us some valuable information on what to avoid as well. Then for the night his wife prepared a traditional harira soup and couscous, which were one of the best we've had in Morocco. This is a real family Riad, where the family lives and where they host people, not some tourist trap like most in Marrakech. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the owner even prepared us breakfast earlier than normal so we could catch our train without an empty stomach.

ItalyThe riad is very characteristic, indeed is situated inside Meknes Medina. The owner is very polite and his wife make a special breakfast included in the tax and if you want she could make also a traditional dinner. The house has and old style but is very clean and has an amazing terrace were we saw the sunrise and sunset. we had a real Moroccan experience there, we felt like part of their family ! Absolutely recommend

United StatesThe family stays up until around midnight so it can be a little noisy until then. I was ok with it once I realized it is quiet after that time. There are some rooms on the rooftop that look like they would be quieter.
Maybe the nicest Riad I have stayed at. The family lives there so it is well maintained and kept very clean. Beautifully decorated with a very nice rooftop terrace. A nice breakfast is included and they can provide dinner for a fee which was some of the best food I have eaten during almost a year of traveling in Africa.

AustraliaThe Idrissi family were so Incredibly hospitable. They were considerate and welcoming. We were allowed to leave our bags with them once we had checked out, and they took considerable time making sure we had everything we needed/ we knew where to go in Meknes. They also cooked us a very lovely breakfast and dinner. The facilities and rooms were equivalent to similarly priced riads. It is the compassion of the Idrissi family that makes this riad stand out

FranceA bit pushy on the selling service/souvenir but I must say that what do they sell (carpets, antiques, etc) is absolutely beautiful and original. If I was going to buy something like that would have been from them. Is a bit pricey compared to other place in Marocco but in Meknes apparently is more expensive in general and after extensive research if you want to stay in Meknes, to us, they were the best value for money.
Beautiful Riad, really amazingly nice. Very nice decorations in perfect traditional style. Room were a bit different from photo but it was nice. We were given a rooftop room with nice big terrace with amazing view of surroundings.

SwedenThe host was welcoming on arrival but very soon became overbearing trying to sell us products apparently produced by his wife. We agreed to have a dinner in the riad which was the most expensive dinner during our entire trip in Morocco, and quite frankly not worth the cost. We left the riad feeling ripped off and with a bad taste in our mouths.
The riad was beautiful and we loved the terrace, the place was well maintained and carefully thoughtfully through

SpainAfter initially being warm and charming, Hakima's husband, Abdel, became more distant over the two days. On the last morning, despite the check-out time being advertised as 12 noon, he shouted at us at 9.45am to bring our bags out of the room because new guests were coming. He was unwilling to listen to any response of ours and it spoiled the atmosphere of our departure. Due to this hostility I would not consider returning to or recommending this Riad.
The wonderful and kind attitude of the host, Hakima, the beauty of the whole Riad. It's a cool, tranquil place yet also very close to the centre of the Medina.
